Hotel Taichung Taiping District

Clean, tidy and comfortable, but there are not many breakfast items and the dishes are average. There are few indoor and outdoor facilities, so it is more suitable for people who just want to stay. The sound insulation effect is relatively poor, but overall it is acceptable.

Parking lot is very convenient, very close to Taiping Tourist Night Market You can also take the 74 fast road to Fengjia Night Market for about 20 minutes. In the middle of the transfer to the Sun Moon Lake, the clean farm can also be from the side of the 74 Expressway to National Road 3 and National Road 6 Convenient transportation, suitable for Taiwan's car travel or minibus travel preferred Have breakfast

The room is small but nicely furnished. Everything is new and my room has a good view of the traffic rotary. It is conveniently located next to the main strain station. Finding the hotel building is a different story. The hotel name and the name on Google Maps don't match and the locals don't seem to know it. To walk to the hotel (3-5 minutes), I have to walk past scores of homeless elderly people sleeping around the station. I wish the city government to do more to help the poor. During my stay, I may have experienced an earthquake from the aftershocks of the April earthquake. I went back to sleep...

Chose it for the indoor slide and mini play area - no regrets - our toddler loved it ❤️ Also, amazing that it's located just opposite Taichung station with a 7-11 & family mart across the street. . Breakfast food is subpar, you can do without it. Only 1 lift for about 12 floors. No fancy amenities but you've got all you need. All in all, value for money 👍

Room was clean and good for solo traveller. The common areas were also pretty nice to relax. Also just walking distance to Taichung railway station (and bus stops which will take you all over Taichung) so it is good. Have to tap in using the card given to you to access your own floor, so feel safe as well. I love the rooftop area where I can just drink and wind down after a hard day travelling. Only complaint is the air con in the room doesn't seem to be working so well, so it might feel quite warm (I travelled in the summer). Also the blinds are not good enough to block out all the light coming from outside, so be mindful of that. Otherwise, a pretty good stay for a short trip in Taichung, and even with quite a few homeless people outside around the area, still felt pretty safe even at night

So clean, Very Very Non smoking room. What i loved in my stay is that i dont smell tracw of smoke. But no slippers, The aircon is function well. Our stay is peaceful and quiet. 7/11,bus and train station is nearby. We will come back here!

Very convenient location, right next to the train station. Room is clean. Simple and good for short stays. The only small complain is sound insulation is bad, can hear the noises in the hallway or next door.

Room was pretty spacious. My first rooom had smell in it and asked for a look, they asked us whether we want to move to another room or not. Good job!

The location is good, 5 mins walk to Taichung Main Station. The place is clean and the room is big with a king-sized bed. On the day I was to check out, when I came back at 10.25am, the room door could not be opened. The staff called for someone to come to repair and luckily it was all done in 25 mins. The male staff on duty at the reception apologised profusely and even gave a small gift for the mishap. Well done to the male staff for his politeness, patience and prompt action.
