Staff are wonderful, going above & beyond. Room clean, warm, was offered room with shower or bath & shower. Breakfast is good and reasonable. Parking excellent, location excellent. Will definitely use again. Really a perfect location and superb service.

We had a lovely stay at the Paddocks. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable and warm. The hotel is perfectly located to explore a wonderful part of the country. We thoroughly enjoyed the Asian cusine for dinner on the first night and both our breakfasts were tasty and plentiful.

Ok so this hotel is a tad dated - but it’s in a great location. Lovely garden overlooking meadows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely done and they used good quality produce to make. There’s a reasonable bar selection so overall this place was a good 2 night stay. It’s right next door to Wye Canoe meet point - which would make for a convenient activity and 5 minute walk from Old Ferrie Inn - nice food and location.

We stayed with 9 friends for 2 nights recently. Although the hotel is old, the rooms have been updated and were spotlessly clean; we were in the garden view rooms which have a nice outlook. The hotel has a very nice bar & lounge area, & the staff were all very helpful. It's in a great location for exploring Symonds Yat, Ross-on-Wye & the local area, there is canoe hire on site & the launch point for canoeing on the River Wye is next to the car park!

Just spent the weekend here, I have to say what a warm and friendly welcome we had which lasted throughout the stay. The staff, especially Noah, could not have been more accommodating. We had one evening meal in the hotel which was from the Pan Asian menu. I am not normally an oriental food lover, but it was the most delicious oriental food I have tried. The gardens are kept lovely and there are plenty of seats to enjoy an afternoon/ evening drink. The room we booked was the cheapest option and this was well worth the money for comfort, space and cleanliness . The location was ideal for a river work and a trip to Symonds Yat Rock. Ross On Wye & Monmouth are also within easy reach.

Went to the Restaurant at The Paddocks for dinner. The food was all wonderful; the spring roll starter was particularly delicious, crispy and stuffed full of chicken and vegetables, with a tasty chilli dipping sauce. We also really enjoyed the lemon chicken, teriyaki salmon and chicken satays. The waiting staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Although the carpark says 'pay and display', when we checked at the front desk, we were given a parking pass, so didn't have to pay - an added bonus!

I have just had another 5 days away at the paddocks hotel symonds Yat. Again everything was lovely. It was so nice seeing familiar faces and everyone makes you feel so welcome. I went with alfa travel again and the driver Martin was hilarious. He had us laughing all the time. He was brilliant. Marina it was lovely to see you again. You work so hard. You all do. Take care all of you and I will be back

I have just spent 5 lovely days at the paddocks hotel. I travelled with alfa travel. From start to finish the holiday was so organised. The hotel was wonderful. The food was lovely, and my room was perfect. Marina the hotel owner was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rest of the staff were the same. They all went out of their way to make sure everything was OK. As you find on coach parties there are always the moaners that find fault with everything but I couldn't find a single thing wrong and I will be back next year. A big thank you to the paddocks hotel Symonds Yat.

The rooms were very clean, and cleaned daily, lovely friendly staff, the garden area is lovely to sit out in the evening and enjoy the bats flying around, good location of Wye Valley Canoeing, the breakfast was slightly overpriced for what you got, but would come back again.
