Service was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, there was a stench whenever I flush the toilet. There was a power outage on the day of checkout. Thankfully, I have already packed our luggage. Staff was apologetic and explained that power failure was uncommon and for that day, it happened to occur to the whole stretch of buildings along that area. Though hotel was just next to the sea, I hardly see anyone swimming there.

During the Spring Festival, 5 tickets per night is considered cheap in the vicinity. It can be regarded as an average B&B. The air conditioning is sufficient. It should be an upgraded terrace room. The staff speaks good English. The front desk lady is very friendly. There is an extra child and only 5 dollars for the environmental protection fee. It is cheaper to take a taxi by yourself. The 7-person car from the airport is 15 dollars. There is no elevator under installation, but Xiaohei brother helps with luggage. There is only one staff member on duty for breakfast. It is touching to see him go out to buy a bag and come back to cook it. The child broke a water cup and didn't charge us. We were embarrassed to leave a tip on the table. It is really close to the beach, which is 1 minute walk away. Many people went there after breakfast in the morning. It is no problem to stay overnight. There are more than a dozen people staying at night, all of whom are domestic evening flights.

Very warm and thoughtful front desk service, willing to use translation software to communicate with us, help us contact the island for the next day, and help us call a taxi at a reasonable price. The hotel is right on the beach and is a good choice for transit.

JJason EggThis hotel turns out to be out of expectation was it is located in Hulhumale (a less busy city compared to Male). The service was great from the moment we got down from the airport transfer. Not to mention, they took the initiative to contact me 1 day prior for airport transfer, the experience was pleasant.
Though the room lighting is slightly dimmed (usually we liked bright white lighting), but overall stay in experience was great!

GGuest UserRoom is a bit small, but that’s typical of hotels in male. It was clean and modern staff were excellent The restaurant was clean and modern and the food was good. It was only a 10 minute car trip from the airport and we will definitely stay there again when we come to the Maldives again next year.

GGuest UserI usually don't write reviews, however, since I book lots of hotel stays, other's reviews help me decide on locations, felt I should give back. I only need a 1 night stay while waiting on next flight. I will say that Male is an island, and like many islands, have its challenges. I booked because it was close to beach.
Pros: Room was clean and walking distance to stores and food locations. Hotel is located across from beach, restaurant on site with decent food; staff was really nice (they carried my bags up 3 flights of stairs to my room for me), they also had airport transfer (my flight was delayed 1 hour into Male, so there was not a pickup waiting for me even though I emailed them my flight arrival information, but I understand that flight was delayed), they did transfer me back to airport early (no extra charge) and made breakfast for me before the normal breakfast time, which I thought was really nice of them. Room was a good size, and large bathroom with a small balcony. There was plenty of electrical outlets, they offered free water in room with tea/coffee (and kettle).
Cons: Hotel is run down, room was adequate for 1 night stay (picture is not accurate depiction). Air Con didn't work really well, but the fan worked. I would not pay full price listed for the room.

KKukukuiThere is no high requirement for Hu Xuan Male Transition Hotel. When this is the cleanest at the same price, it looks like the cleanest. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi. Later, I learned that the hotel has a pick-up service. It is the inaccurate message on the XC platform. The lobby is relatively simple. The room is still very clean and hygienic. The bakery across the road has been open until late. I bought bread and tasted good.

LLizhidaliA family of three booked a standard room, and only the couple's information was available when the hotel was booked, so if you want to change to a family room, you can't add money. Before booking, I chose this hotel after reading the policy of ”children are welcome to stay, no extra bed, no extra money”. But the hotel is relatively tough, and it will not work if you don’t change the room... Finally, under the coordination of Ctrip, I changed to a family room (pay the difference). It is said that there is an airport shuttle service, but it is actually a paid shuttle service, which costs 15 dollars for a one-way trip, and only 6 dollars for a taxi. Aside from the good environment of these hotels, facing the sea, although this bathing beach is not comparable to those tourist islands in Madai, it beats 100% of the bathing beaches in Sanya. There is a breakwater in the distance, and swimming is very safe. The surrounding facilities are complete, and there is a large supermarket in the residential area with affordable prices. GGuest UserStunning hotel! Clean and tidy, great location (right on the beach, the best spot to watch the sunrise). We had an early flight and breakfast was specially prepared for us. The free airport pick-up was punctual and considerate! Especially the service, every staff member has a bright smile, is serious and responsible, and can communicate with us in simple Chinese, so we feel the sincere service! I will book this hotel next time I go!

There is a boy named ”Subao” who is very good at talking, very smart and very humorous. Hotel facilities in general, breakfast is relatively monotonous, the same every day, but the price is there, relatively speaking is still possible. The network is not very good.
