This house is steps from the the outdoor pool with the water slide, the game room and beach. Perfect location.We have 4 exterior security cameras pointing towards the backyard driveway & front door. They are recording video 24 hours per day but we only check them if there are issues. The community amenities include: lake with 2 beaches, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, tennis & basketball courts, walking trail, laundromat, game room, soccer field, skate park, dog park, art & craft center, indoor gym, and 2 snack bars that offer take out. (Some amenities are open seasonally and during specific hours.)A quick 20 minute drive gets you to the sweet towns of Honesdale & Hawley that have great dining, shops, antiquing, and activities for the whole family. Upstate NY is a 45 min drive from our house! **Please note that we do have neighbors on either side of our house.**KIDSWe have a set of kids plates, cups, bowls, and utensils available. ABOUT THE SPACE - BRAND NEW MINI SPLIT AC UNITS IN ALL BEDROOMS AND MAIN LIVING ROOM!!!!!Enjoy your time in the Mountains away from it all in our cozy 3 bed 3 bath chalet in the wonderful community of Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. We have access to both Lake Wallenpaupack and two other non motor boating lakes as well as two outdoor pools, one indoor pool, playgrounds, tennis courts, ball fields and so much more for you and your family to enjoy. THE SPACEThis mountain chalet is three full finished floors with plenty of room for your group of 8. Our master bedroom on the main floor has a wonderful king log bed for you to lounge in. The two other bedrooms are on the top floor along with the classic Chalet Loft overlooking the great room. One bedroom has a Queen Log bed and the other a Log bunk with full on bottom and twin on top plus a small childs cot. The fully stocked kitchen is on the main level along with the main bathroom and great room with large flatscreen TV that opens out onto the large covered deck where you'll surly spend all your time just relaxing. The lower level has the laundry room, another full bathroom and the family room with comfy couches to watch movies on the large flat screen TV. We have all the comforts of home including cable tv, internet, and games/toys for those rainy days and now we have brand new Mini Split AC units in each of the 3 bedrooms and one in the main living room. Outside there is a nice firepit where memories can be made sharing campfire stories and roasting marshmallows. For use at the lake you can take down our two person kayak and 1 stand up paddle board to explore Deer Lake. THE COMMUNITYWallenpaupack Lake Estates includes 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with a sauna, lakefront beaches on both Deer Lake and Beaver Lake, a game room for kids, snack bar, tennis, volleyball, skate park, marina,, and many seasonal activities geared toward families. Spring – Lake levels will be high. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be launched until docks come out and block the launch, but while docks are still in the water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking (for loading and unloading passengers. There is no boat slip availability for guests). Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.
