The District Hotel

Bon établissement. Service à la hauteur d'un 3 étoiles. Malheureusement l'insonorisation des chambres est médiocre. Nous avons été vraiment dérangés par les autres clients. Nous avons été incommodés à plusieurs reprises par des odeurs de cigarettes.

We just back from the work trip . Hotel was very nice , room very big , toilet perfect , and the best breakfast - bcs we start work 7 - breakfast for us was a little early 🤭 6.40 - thank You !! Monday evening the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful - he helped us find nice places in st julian - thank you - after work we were able to do a bit of sightseeing. very close to pubs and restaurants,

We did not book this hotel, due to unfortunate circumstances and a family member being taken ill the insurance booked us into this hotel while we await repatriation home The walls are paper thin, the location is in the Center of the Ibiza of Malta. We stayed for 9 nights and we slept for 2 of those. The youths have no consideration for other guests we were woken up all hours of the night with doors slamming,People shouting and roudy behaviour. One night receptionist could not control them and we finally had enough and went against our insurance to move hotels. I'm sure if you are young and want to party and have no need to sleep this place is perfect but if you want to visit Malta and the sites, culture or get a good nights sleep this isn't the place to stay avoid at all costs I will say staff were pleasant and rooms were clean.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! David the manager lies his way through all guest complaints - air conditioning doesn't work properly, beds suck, there are no toiletries except liquid soap but their website shows more, the cleaning staff do the very bare minimum & refold your dirty towels instead of give fresh ones, room fridge isn't cold & only brings things to room temperature. David's lies for AIR CONDITIONING NOT WORKING - takes 10mins on entry for a room to get cool (we waited 40mins, still a hot box), air con doesn't work at the coolest setting of 17 degrees must be set at 20 (didn't work no matter the temperature). BEDS - uncomfortable, sag everywhere, really soft mattress. They don't do double beds, just push together 2 singles & use a weird zipped up under-sheet to keep them together but you have this solid hard wide seam in the middle of the bed you can't lay on, so ultimately you're still separated from your bed partner! TOILETRIES - David the manager says "you can wash your hair with the shower soap, so yes we do give you shampoo". No David, no woman is washing her hair with liquid body soap!!! CLEANERS - lower your expectations as they always forget something (empty bins), check your towels as they rarely give you fresh ones & just refold your old ones, they ALWAYS turn off the air con in your room so you'll return from a hot day out to a really hot room too - they don't understand hospitality. ROOM FRIDGE - initially really hot but after a day or 2 it will be about room temperature & it doesn't get much colder than that. LOCATION - if you're into club nights & drinking till you throw up you'll love it. If you still want a lively location but something more sophisticated try Sliema.

We had an amazing time, literally just after arriving ar our Hotel. The District Hotel was very modern, spacious and nicely decorated! The staff were very attentive. I really lovely mini break. The only let down, was the construction work going on adjacent to the Hotel. I think a little word to customers would be most helpful.
