The location is pretty good, not too far from downtown. The service is okay. It’s a pretty old hotel. Disappointing is that in the middle of the night or very early in the morning some guests can be very noisy (running and yelling kids or very loud speaking people) in the corridor, and nobody handles it.

Not foreigner friendly! After midnight I planned to check in with my official legal document issued by Shanghai’s entry exit bureau which is given to foreigners while their work visa gets renewed. I was rejected to check in. Through trip.com’s help, Chinese friend’s help and various conversations to their staff, I was denied and after 2am I had to search for a new hotel in Suzhou. Never have I been denied because of that white legal document.
