It was clean and I was able to park because I arrived early
Breakfast was decent
However, from the beginning, there was a smell that made me wonder if someone peed
I thought it was coming from the floor carpet. . . It smelled like a sewer
(They sprayed a lot of mist here and there;)
After going out, it suddenly got worse when I was sleeping at night, so I was like, what should I do? . .
It was so late that I was about to file a claim, but
then it got better and I was like, huh?
This wasn't a smell coming from the room
It was a smell coming from the heating and cooling system
I turned off the heating in the morning just in case, and the smell didn't come
But it was so humid😭
I think you should check the heating and cooling system!!

This was my first time staying at this hotel. When I checked in, they explained everything to me in detail, which made me feel very comfortable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is directly connected to Suwon Station, so you can enjoy shopping and gourmet food to your heart's content.
If I have the opportunity to go to Suwon again, this is a hotel I would definitely like to stay at.

The furniture is old and shabby. Wardrobe doors make an annoying squeaky sound every time.
The safe did not work.
The room was dark, there wasn't enough light.
The bed linen had stains when we arrived, so I called and asked housekeeping to come and change at least the sheet. So they did, but the new one also had some stains. I gave up.
The towels are really old.
I think this hotel was too expensive for what we got.

This Marriott is connected to a very small mall with many restaurants (nothing fancy).
The Mall is convenient and nice to walk around in.
More importantly, it borders a wetland park, which is really nice to spend time in.
There is not much to do in Suwon (it seems to be a business oriented city with many business people visiting LG and Samsung.) There is also a convention center and a larger mall next door.
Breakfast is ok.

This hotel surprised me a lot. First thing, my room is very new. Both the bedding and furniture are clean, and the room is spacious. The bathroom and shower are separate. Second, breakfast was very rich and everything was clean. However, I picked a city-view room. The floor is low, and I can't see anything outside the window except the parking lot.
My family and I are very satisfied with the cleanliness and breakfast. I will choose to stay here again next time.

The room is a bit small but adequate. Very clean. The location is very good. There is a big Starbucks downstairs. If you go out at midnight, there are several small bars where you can eat and drink beer. There is also 24/7/11. The front desk staff all speak very good English. If I go again in March, I will definitely stay here again.

Overall clean and comfortable. Location is quite central and the main street is a short 5 minutes walk away. However, I wouldn't recommend staying in this area because it has many bars and pubs around. It's not safe at night and there are a lot of drunk people around. Plus it's really noisy at night too.

I ended up arriving early and was willing to wait for my room to be ready, but my room was ready, and I was able to go in. Everything was very clean, and the service was top-notch. It was pretty easy to get around and not too bad if you had to take a taxi. The area wasn't noisy. There were plenty of places to eat, including a healthy sandwich shop around the corner. I wish I could remember the name, but the ingredients were fresh, and there was English available, so no guessing. The place is like a Salady, but for sandwiches. Anyway, I had a great stay and would definitely stay there again.

It's close to Suwon City Hall, so it's very convenient, I can sleep comfortably in a different atmosphere in Suwon, where there are many motels. Next time I go to Suwon, I will definitely stay again.

GGuest UserI visited during the snowy Seollal holiday! All the staff were friendly and the facilities were all clean! You should bring your own toothpaste and toothbrush. I stayed on the 9th floor, and the water pressure was strong and the hot water came out well! I plan to stay here again when I visit Suwon! It's a business hotel. Even by that standard, the room was spacious! (It was a basic deluxe room)

AAnonymous UserFamily room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel.
However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use.
Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.

Although it is not a high-end hotel, the service attitude is definitely much better than that of many high-end hotels. Let's not talk about other hotels. Let's compare it with the Four Points Sheraton not far from this hotel. The service attitude of the front desk of this hotel is 10,000 times better than that of the Four Points Sheraton. KKarleneI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.

GGuest UserFantastic service, focused on the customer experience. Elevator parking was on point, and my car was delivered promptly.
Small incident was taken car of by staff immigration with great care. The staff, was able to contact my insurance company. They understood my situation as I don't speak much Korean and they were able to understand English and exactly what I need done. The front desk team did a great job.
I can not thank you enough for care and promptness of service provided.

As there aren't many parking spaces, you need to go to the reception and he's even going to park your car where a cone is reserving the parking space for the Malu Hotel after you check-in. The bed was a bit bouncy but okay, as I didn't slept much. You can hear people talking in the corridor through the door. There was a small kitchen with a kettle and microwave. A fridge and tiny freezer in it, with bottles of water. The shower head handle was cracked so the water was leaking from there too, but I had a nice hot shower with a big towel since a long time.
