Anacapri Holiday Resort Apartments

The management charged us AU$60 for no reason,no explanation after our staying. Horrible experience ever.

The location of the property was good, only a short walk away to surfers. The check in process was poor with no staff available on site at check in time on a Saturday, we had to talk to staff via our phone. The room was dirty and the microwave unusable, smelling like it had had an electrical fire in it. Made the whole apartment stink. There was a power board in the bedroom with exposed wires showing. A thick layer of dust and lots of debris under the bed on the tile floor. The sliding door from the bedroom to balcony couldn’t close and lock properly, making the apartment insecure. There was no tea and coffee in the room and only half a roll of toilet paper. Pots and pans were dirty. Lots of dirt and grime around the place, the room needs a deep clean. There was no fire evacuation sign displayed in the room and the fire exit on our floor wasn’t marked with an exit sign (I don’t usually pay much attention to these things but checked following the burnt smell in our apartment). I complained via email and at the desk, the receptionist said someone from management would call me that afternoon, I never received a phone call. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Our unit on the 15 th floor was disgusting Can’t believe they are still able to book people in .I thought because most of the reviews were old it couldn’t possibly be so bad. It was. We even spoke to the person on reception before we booked and were assured it was all in very good condition now. His idea of good condition obviously very different to ours.We didn’t expect 4 star but this is the worst unit we have ever rented and we travel frequently.We tried to move to a different resort but all booked out so close to Xmas. We were over run with cockroaches in the kitchen and when I complained I was told the pest man had been the previous week. He must have sprayed water !! Please believe me this is a true review. Do Not Waste Your Money

This place is the bottom of the barrel you scrape when you leave it late to book anything and everywhere else is fully booked. Dated decor, tired, dirty, smelly. Nothing like the photos we saw online when we booked. The other reviews here tell it how it is. The bathroom looked like it had recently been updated by the basin plug didn’t work so you couldn’t fill it. The provisions provided were mean. One teabag! One of everything. If you wanted more they could be “purchased” from reception. The Wifi was rubbish and barely worked. Also a threat of a further charge if you didn’t wash all your dishes and remove your own rubbish. Unless you are desperate, avoid. On the plus side, the beach is 2 mins away and it’s a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Surfers. Also, the surf club at the end of the street is a fantastic place to go and eat.
