Room was huge the tv was all in Indonesian and had an a.i voice assistant that we couldn't turn off otherwise it was good choosing what we like the bathroom was amazing and the personal art work message to my good wife welcome ☺ breakfast was ok situated in a American looking cafe staff are super professional there was an iron and ironing board microwave fridge plates etc i didn't see one bug insect in the entire room but was dust in some places ac was ok too my elderly mother inlaw was actually loving it a shower ware she could sit the place has elevator family friendly space could do with a steam room or gym they have the space

Not Bad, but really need improvement the Service Quality and food Quality. The foor Quality was very poor, this Hotel food, not worth for the Five Star Hotel.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel, and the experience was always awesome. We really liked the room that we booked this time, and the vibes the view and the experience was good. Unfortunately I find the dishes during breakfast were quite bland and the choice was so limited, but we really like the relocations on the top floors, got really good views, and made the whole breakfast quite enjoyable. Regardless we will always recommend this hotel and definitely will stay here again in the future, 😁

The location is ok. On the one side of the hotel there is a small convenient store, on the other side there is an old small shopping center (Hollowed) which comes with a few eateries. Royal Plaza has more food choices but it takes 15-18 minutes walk and you have to go around to pass the railway tracks to get there. The traffic at the railway intersection is very bad so you better to take Grab to go to Royal Plaza. The room is clean and room size is ok. The TV is good size and has good programs. There is a safe box, but no bathtub in the room I stayed. The buffet breakfast and dinner are ok. The AC at the dining area is not cold enough. The staff are friendly and helpful. The train tracks are very close to the hotel so don’t choose the rooms that face the tracks if you prefer quiet environment.

Each meal was a treat for the taste buds, with attentive staff making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is also convenient, close to major attractions and shopping centers, making it easy to explore Surabaya. However, the hotel itself is so luxurious that you may not even want to leave! Overall, my stay at Shangri-La Surabaya was exceptional. The combination of world-class service, luxurious accommodations, and outstanding facilities make this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Surabaya. Well this is our first time staying in this hotel, when we arrived the staff was so nice, they help us alot in the checkin process and it didnt take long till we finally arrived at our room. The room was standard and we got the back view of the hotel, it was a river and some neighbours area, but at night, it was a better view. It was clean and tidy, most of it was already there and we just had to settle first. Actually it was quite nice to stay here, the vibe to rest and relax was quite here. The breakfast was quite nice also, we got some Indonesian buffets with a lot of choices, it tastes good and quite satisfying. Lemme tell you about some annoying things that happened to us, at midnight around 2am there some guests that try to enter our rooms, i guess they were drunk and chose the wrong rooms, it was quite some times, till they realised it was the wrong rooms, it didn't bother us much, but the wife was quite startled, But overall it was quite an experience to stay here, definitely maybe we will choose this hotel again for our next staycation, thanks

3rd time staying here, but my first time trying the superior twin room. The room was clean and tidy, but the bathroom's exhaust fan seems not working perfectly, it makes the bathroom feels humid. Facility wise, all good.

The room was clean and nice, However the sustainability efforts are lacking, I didn't need my towel to be changed daily and kept it on the rack, but yet it was changed every day. Once I came back to see all the lights and air-conditioning was on, likely running all day 10 am- 7pm + when I returned The lifts are super slow and only 1 coffee machine for the whole breakfast restaurant that needed addition of water all the days I was there

The ambience was great. They also had no bottled water per room but they gave us a glass kettle and a gallon of water at the hallway so we could save the earth by using less plastics. Maybe for breakfast need to be upgrade for the menu cause menu so bored
