Hotel Jardin de Las Marias

Very nicely presented. Pool, hammocks, and chill area courtyard. Rooms good size, great bed ensemble queen clean modern bathrooms. Hot water on de.and system, air con that works. Writing desk and closet to hang clothes. Quiet as rooms are at back. Restaurant in hotel.

Situated on the edge of the town centre the hotel is ideally placed for a leisurely walk into town. A mixed complex of one and two storey buildings on differing levels. The rooms are modern feeling recently fitted. Our room had two large single beds, a three piece shower room and the all important air-conditioning. No fridge but drinks could be purchased from reception. There was no service to the room meaning that we had to ask for a change in towels. Breakfast needed to be ordered the day before. Failing that eat one of the many falling mangoes from numerous trees at the hotel. All in all a pleasant stay in this beautiful town.

I was part of the Intrepid Group visiting Central America & this hotel was our 3rd stop. After the first two hotels, this was heavenly. It is fairly new & their beds are so amazing. Staff is very friendly & they have great laundry service. Strong free wifi signal in every area including the rooms. Rooms are clean & like new. They charge USD 4.50 for breakfast & there are 4 options. You will have to order it the night before. This hotel is perfectly located close to the center of the city. Everything is convenient & walking distance including the pharmacies! There is a really cool coffee shop next to the church called Abuelas that is a must try! Their lobby & lounging area is very nice. They also have a nice pool area.

An oasis within Suchitoto. The street view doesn’t give away much, but enter the door and through reception, this hotel opens up to a beautiful garden that is dotted with nooks of chairs and couches for people to enjoy. The rooms are generous in size and the air conditioning made sleeping easier. Bathroom may be compact, but it has everything a traveller requires. Complementary bottle of water next to the bed. PowerPoints easy accessible next to the bedside table and lamp. The pool is central within the complex and surrounded by an abundance of lounges, seats and tables. An inviting space for families in particular. They offer a laundry service at Jardin and for $3 USA, my 2kgs of dirty clothes were back the same day, folded and fresh. The wifi worked well except when the power went. Breakfast can be ordered the night before and you can eat in the setting below the pool - very nice. Staff are helpful and although little English, smiles and sign language go along way. Only a five minute walk down a slight inclined road to the main square, church and shops.
