Loved it and would definitely return! Did laundry, enjoyed evening and day in cafe! Very friendly and helpful staff! Lovely location! Delicious offerings in cafe, which doesn’t open to public until noon. Would definitely return!! Very helpful!

Great little hostel/guesthouse, we had room 7 (double) which had a -Fantastic- view of the harbor. We felt it was a good price at 26,000 isk for 2 nights so $90ish per night. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy. We had a shared bathroom/shower/kitchen. All were clean and there were plenty of bathrooms/shower stalls. Great kitchen that was very well equipped with spices/oils/pots/pans etc. Free coffee & tea. Laundry available for a small fee. We stayed 2 nights and used it as a base camp for exploring. The city of stykkisholmur was also cute to explore. Highly recommend coming to this area, and staying at this hostel!

Great place to stay a night. Located right in the middle of the town. There’s an awesome fish restaurant right next door. The staff were friendly, and the bathrooms and rooms were clean. The breakfast was delicious for an affordable price. Great coffee!

This place is an enigma. The location is very good. The price for a room is seemingly good until you arrive. I can only speak of a room for one person. Arriving there is impersonal for normal check in hours. You are sent a code for both the front door and your room. No key for the room or people to help you. It was the smallest, and least furnished room that I had in Iceland. No room for luggage. I Have seen better shared bathroom facilities in the military. The good points. If you arrive early it has a very good popular coffee shop with reasonably priced, but limited, menu. The breakfast is very good with someone serving that is very attentive to the needs of the people that stayed there.

We are a family of five (two adults, a 12 year old, 10 year old and 8 year old) and stayed here for three nights. The location is perfect - right next to the harbour and facing Sugandisey, which is lovely to take a stroll across to, whatever time of day (whilst there we spotted loads of puffins flying past and eider ducks). The room we had in the hostel was very clean and tidy, the beds were very comfortable, and we all slept well each night. The bathroom/shower facilities were very good. Kitchen and dining area was also pleasant (although the oven was in need of repair, and I would suggest they could do with a few additions to the kitchen equipment - like bottle opener, potato peeler, sharp knives). It was also very easy for us to get a free parking space directly outside the property. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in this hostel/guest House in june 17 only one night with my family(3 adulti). The room was clean and the breakfast good with tipical food in a cozy room. We booked our room with bathroom but there was't the shower. The cost was too expensive for this accomodation.

Great location on harbour, staff friendly. I stayed in a single room Comfortable stay But is a hostel not more Two showers for whole guest house of say 25men (ladies seperate). Bfast was ok, below average for cost. Fish and chips out back in harbour were lovely Also recommend the Vikings sushi tour which runs twice a day from harbour, few nice islands and I ate so many scallops fresh from sea

Terrific place. Off-season so I was one of two guests. I was met to be given access, very friendly and efficient. Rooms are simple however perfectly fine. The area upstairs is 70's style and very well done. The common area and kitchen downstairs are both great. I had a twin room which was well priced . Bathrooms all good. In summary I thought it had character and was perfectly located and spotlessly clean.

Ci siamo fermati per un tè e un dolce e abbiamo scoperto una piccola pasticceria hand made: torta al basilico, carrot cake e tanto altro. Sperimentazione e tradizione, coraggio e fantasia ( nella cucina è sempre un bel mix). Bel posto, una bella atmosfera e lo staff very good!
