Caladh Inn

A tad expensive for room which was very basic Def not superior standard. Staff lovely, room clean, good shower and bathroom and hotel was great for festival purpose but can't get over price we paid!

Good!

Was there on business, the hotel was ideal for my needs, staff were courteous and pleasant, reception staff helped me with early checkouts and couldn't have been nicer. Over all a good experience.

Front desk staff were delightful, helpful and welcoming Breakfast waiter was more interested in clearing tables than bringing us coffee. He actually cleared my plate while I was still seated, dropping utensils in my lap. In general he was unfriendly and rude. Otherwise breakfast was fine.

This hotel was very clean and serviceable. Except for one exceptionally helpful staff person there was nothing outstanding about it. It was conveniently located near the ferry terminal.

A kind and safe sanctuary (Calaidh - is a safe port or sanctuary in Gaelic) in the old world port of Stornoway. The hotel is fitted out very nicely and also has a nice restaurant and bar. Location is outstanding. Near the port - near the downtown (shopping or touring or entertainment). The grocery store is a 2 minute walk. Off street parking was excellent. Staff were lovely. Full marks - all the way.

We stayed an extra night because it was so comfortable and secure. The Outer Hebrides are marvelous and Calaidh is the best location from which to see the Isle of Lewis.

I found this hotel, friendly, welcoming, comfortable and clean. Breakfast gave plenty of choice including beautiful fresh fruit, all the British Breakfast components , yoghourts and cereals. The food for dinner consisted of two choices, a hot buffet or menu. The buffet choices were absolutely lovely, plenty to choose from and the menu was fun. Seafood skewer was of particular note! It is close to the ferry terminal and handy for Stornaway. Plenty Parking too. A really good experience.

The hotel is very good with lovely food, it’s just a shame cars have to be so noisy during the night (Saturday night) Bed was lovely a comfortable if you weren’t kept awake by noise
