Rachel's Farm Luxury Escapes with Hot Tubs

We stayed at Rachel’s Farm for a hen do and unfortunately, it was not a positive experience. This property is absolutely not suitable for group celebrations or hen parties. There is a very strict quiet after 10pm” rule, which made it difficult to enjoy our time together, especially when the entire purpose of the weekend was to celebrate. We felt on edge and cautious of this and the owners were in contact throughout our stay which again put us on edge and never really felt at ease. We also did have a pleasant interaction with a male member of staff who was unprofessional. The rooms themselves are okay, clean but very basic. The beds are quite small and not especially comfortable. The bathrooms are nice. On top of that, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired, we found dirty cups in the kitchen and chopping boards that were mouldy, which was a real letdown. You pay a lot for this property and I believe you can get better value for your money if you are booking for a larger group. I can’t speak to how it might be for a romantic weekend away, but for hen dos or any kind of larger celebration, this is definitely not the place. We left feeling disappointed and a little misled. It’s a shame to write negative reviews on a family run business but we were left feeling upset and let down by our stay which we spent a lot of time planning and money on, I feel it’s only fair to leave a review like this to make others aware booking for a larger group that this in my opinion is not suitable and look elsewhere.
