Stirling City Centre

While the accommodation was as expected from premier inn the drinks choices with the meal deal were very poor. The 3 identified choices on the menu were not available and only 1 substitute was provided forcing you to spend an additional fee to have an alcoholic drink of your choice. Overall the food choice was disappointing and not to the expected standard of a Beefeater restaurant with some breakfast choices either being stale or not available As regular Premier Inn users we found this to be the poorest for both breakfast and evening meal

The food and the service at this hotel are appalling. Staff knew is was awful and promised a refund, which I didn't get. And the final reason given by staff for a hour delay? And I quote "order hasn't been put through the till" That was it, despite repeatedly asking what was going on :(

Positives , good location less than 10 minutes walk to train station and town centre. Comfy beds as always friendly staff. Negatives The breakfast OMG simply the worst breakfast ever had at a premier inn, it's table service not buffer took ages to get breakfast served. The food DISGRACEFUL!!! food barely cooked couldn't eat it shocking serving this to guest's.

The hotel was a disaster. When we were checking in the woman in front of us was trying to switch rooms because her air con was broken, they told her they were fully booked until she threatened to leave and take a refund at which point they told her that they did have a room for her to switch to. This should have been an early warning for us. The extractor fan in our bathroom didn’t work and after a day water was running down the walls and the ceiling was mouldy. There were also many ‘intimate’ stains on the curtains and the walls which is pretty disgusting. When we asked to change rooms, the staff insisted there were no extra rooms and promised us a refund and complementary breakfasts. We did switch the next day and finally had a dry room for a night but whilst we’ve been refunded for the room, they still haven’t refunded breakfasts. As we were checking out on the final day we overheard another couple complaining to reception that their heating wasn’t working. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice but the quality and maintenance of the rooms was horrific.

We stayed here for 3 nights room was fine and comfy bed pretty basic but if your not too fussy does the job,only thing we found was bathroom had a slight musty smell? Breakfast was good could have as much as you wanted,would stay again as fine for walking into town centre.

Very nice location and the hotel is clean and staff are very professional and helpful. However some staff looked like they wanted to be elsewhere. The room was mostly comfortable but the lack of being able to open the window meant the room smelled musty stated to smell to get worse after a few days of no proper fresh air and 4 people sharing. The room needed some tlc with paintwork and cracks and the mattress was comfy but again feeling in need of a refresh. Food was tasty, though evening meals felt a little overpriced compared to rivals across the road, but breakfast was good as always. A pleasant place to stay and a great location but could be better.
