Stevenage North

This was booked as I needed somewhere close to the hospital so just wanted it to be clean and comfortable and I was not disappointed. The room was clean, shower was great and tea/coffee was there in abundance and I could take more from reception when needed. Sharon greeted us on arrival and she was so friendly and helpful, along with Tara they made a horrible trip much nicer for me whilst I waited for my husband to I come out of hospital. Bed was comfy and extra pillows were there if required. Wifi is ok, I paid for the 'ultimate' wifi but I do feel £5 for 24 hours was a bit steep as I was there for 3 nights and the last night it wouldn't work. The parking is really good, no issues at all. Food was disappointing, I paid £10.99 for the breakfast, it was ok but for me I felt it was expensive for what I ate, maybe if you eat a lot then you'd feel like you get your money's worth. Sadly the evening meal choice was very limited, I had mac and cheese, it was bland and again overpriced for what I got. This hotel is perfect for what I needed though, close to the hospital and a Sainsburys in walking distance. All in all I would say that the staff make this hotel, Sharon and Tara made my time so much nicer and I honestly can't praise them enough. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if needed.

Stayed here as attending a funeral,and having read other more positive reviews thought it was a good idea 😟 Positives staff friendly and welcoming, negatives 1: had meal deal, evening meal first night, restaurant very cold, went to loo main lights not working, meal we are vegetarian. Only one option available, waiter tells us there supplies are low asked if tomorrow night likely to be sorted adviced no ( macaroni cheese?? How hard is that?? ) next ordered two bottles alcohol cider waited waiter returned we only have one bottle left 😟 breakfast next morning slightly better although veg sausage very undercooked.. To complete misery return from funeral to find restaurant shut... reason told no staff 😟!! Room was ok ISH. No bedside light working,no bulb and underneath bed resembled a graveyard for electric fans Sad as we have had some wonderful stays at Premier Inns

Excellent service from staff Excellent breakfast freshly prepared to order Room large and very clean Hotel beautifully decorated for Xmas All this made up for the need of renovation and the tired looking restaurant that is being sold off. Location great. Will stay again. Well done to the staff

Great stay in this establishment whilst visiting family. Rooms rather large and very clean. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Alexia the receptionist was extremely polite and welcoming. Would stay here again when visiting family.

My husband and I stayed at the Premier Inn when visiting family in the area recently. This hotel was ideally located for where family live and also for getting in and out of the town centre. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

Nice clean rooms, well situated for easy access to the main road into Stevenage. Close to Stevenage old town and train station for trips into London. Staff friendly and helpful. New restaurant being built currently which looks very smart. Overall nice hotel.
