As accommodation goes, no complaints. But, as I was attending an all day conference, I was looking forward to a light breakfast, some yoghurt and perhaps some cheese helpfully provided as part of one’s stay. The cheese, however, appears to be Melrose slices. You know, the kind that get individually wrapped, are this glistening plastic colour and tend to get advertised as “CHEESE FLAVOURED FOOD PRODUCT”. This confused me, since my fellow guests did not appear to be 8 years old and using said cheese to pack a school lunch. I believe the cheese to be so cheap and processed that it’s entirely impossible that it would be inedible even to Americans. So, in closing, if you plan to stay, see if you can smuggle some cheddar in surreptitiously

Very Nice modern accomodation, only a bit too small area for breakfast for bigger groups than 20, like we’ve been. No problem at dinner because just on the corner are great restaurants. Rooms are pretty big, huge shower, clean everywhere, thank you again.

Loved this hotel. Little hotel with amazing friendly staff. I booked the most basic room. Spotless, neat and extremely comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom looked exactly like the pictures. The reception dudes, Brandon and Adrian are are always smiling, enthusiastic and helpful. And Monique at breakfast is always ready to help with a smile and anything you need. We loved this hotel, it's location but the staff really made our stay!!

Excellent hospitality, and clean rooms. The top view is extraordinary gives an opportunity to see the mountains, wine fields, and the surrounding clean environments. The nearby restaurants and shops are appropriate places for having dine and wine.

Friendly staff great rooms. Great location. Will go back any time. Located near many great restaurants and great view of the iconic town and mountain ranges. Almost full dstv. And beds are extremely comfortable. Safe parking for your vehicle

A great budget option in the area. It is new, clean, quiet and the staff are kind. The breakfast wasn't great, but it is free so understandable. The rooms are a bit cold, but as noted clean so good. There's also free parking and it is in a great location.

I booked a room for 2 people (myself and my daughter). The room contained a double bed (not queen or king) which was definitely not big enough for 2. The hotel manager then moved us to a bigger room (2 single beds). Due to load shedding there was no tea or coffee for breakfast. When we returned in the evening our room had not been serviced. When asked why we were told that we had not left the room key (which was not communicated at check in). I will definitely not stay here again as convenient as it is.

Booked 5 days in October 23 at the Hotel Krige. Very friendly front desk and support staff during our stay. Room was very big, plenty of storage, coffee maker, refrig. The bathroom was also very good size! Loved the walkin shower and the HOT water. Bed was very comfortable for a good night sleep. The balcony was a nice addition, to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air! The roof top setting for breakfast was good, but could get crowded and no place to sit. We did take sunset pictures from the roof top!! Great location for us!!

Last minute stopover in Stellnbosch after driving the Garden Route from Knysna and we were so glad we did. Great hotel located close to town and the fab restaurants. Special shout out to the Fat Butcher where we had the pleasure of dining - thought we would not need a booking early Monday night - WRONG what does that tell you - buts thats another review. Hotel Krige is very new andexcellent value. It is also a quasi business hotel. One thing to check though is that with load shedding if you have a car - make sure you can get out as the underground car park is accessed by a lift and we were flying out the next day so this was important. Luckily - the sheddule for that day did not affect us (Lvl 2) although I hear its on Level 6 now - argh!! We will stay there again for our next visit the hotel was excellent and gave us a chnce to feshen up after 5 weeks before flying home
