We had a very enjoyable two days staying in one of the cosy and comfortable timber cabins at the Granite Belt Retreat and Brewery. The cabins are well spaced out across the property, meaning you are amongst the trees, with the kangaroos, wallabies and kookaburras not far away, and often within sight. There was plenty of firewood for our cabin, and the continental breakfast, complete with home-made bread, was more than enough to start us off on our exploration of the nearby town of Stanthorpe, the surrounding scenery, the Christmas farm, and the Girraween National Park. A delightful escape to the country. Would happily return.

After a long drive the cabin was bliss. And it was cool enough to need to use the fireplace. Breakfast next morning on the dining room deck overlooking the ducks on the little lake was perfect. And only 5 minutes drive into Stanthorpe which is the nicest little town in Queensland

My team of 8 were well catered for and totally enjoyed out work retreat of 2 days & 3 nights, accomodation & catering were exceptional, great location and could not recommend more highly. A little gem in a quiet spot & well worth the effort get there.

Family and friends came together for my daughters wedding, staying the weekend in the cabins with the wedding and reception held on the grounds. I cannot fault anything - outstanding venue, mouth watering food, amazing service and exceptionally well priced. Stunning scenery with gorgeous, comfortable cabins. Best decision we have ever made, was to have this as our venue. The whole weekend was wonderful with the actual day being a magical experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the cabins. It's Quiet, amongst nature, and loved seeing the local wildlife around. Our meal was tasty and we enjoyed your craft brews. We're looking forward to you bottling again so we can take some home next time.

Our art group stayed in the very comfortable timber cabins and painted for 3 days. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the scenery and surroundings excellent for painting and enjoyed our continental breakfast each day - a good time to catch up with other members of the group.

Terrible food and bad service. The set menu is not well thought out. The food was absolutely horrible. Only one person in our group enjoyed the meal. Why is a pub style venue trying to do upscale food ? Epic failure. Service was slow as well. Not a good experience. I would give this place a miss.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was cozy and the bed was comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We took advantage of happy hour at the brewery as well. The location is out of the way, but still close enough to the town and wineries. I would definitely stay here again.
