Beautiful hotel and so clean.. Rooms are big and have everything and so clean.. The staff makes it worth coming they are so nice and welcoming.. Elli one of the hotel staffs she was so nice and helpful with everything.. They always smile and polite. We will definitely come back again to this hotel because of the staff.

The whole experience was so lovely, from the amazing staff at the breakfast restaurant and pool bar to the lovely Elli who was always so helpful and welcoming. Everyone was always ready to answer any questions or give us the best experience possible and always with a smile on, specially lovely Natalia! The hotel mini market next to our rooms was so convenient as well and the lady working there was always making our day! The room cleaning services were so great and the cleaning staff were so so nice! Besides the amazing staff, the facilities were always on point and the atmosphere is great! Couldn’t ask for a better birthday stay! Staff and hotel was 5/5 stars

A large hotel with a very nice pool area with restaurant and pool bar. Comfortable, free sun beds and thick, soft pool towels at a deposit. Tasty breakfast, with lots to choose from. Very friendly employees at the hotel. We had a one room apartment with a lovely view to the sea. This was in the old part of the hotel, and could need some renovations, but the cleaning was excellent, so we had no problems. 5 minutes walk downhill, across the main road, the hotel had a waterfront bar that served lunch an provided sunbeds, just like those by the pool. We ordered one day in advance to get in front. 15 Euro for 2 beds, parasol, 2 large towels and 2 liters of cold water. This week was above our expectations. Friendly people in bars and restaurants all around Agia Marina, and very good Greek food. If you have walking problems of any kind, this is unfortunately not the hotel for you. Lots of stairs and steep paths.

Very nice views, and good location of the hotel. Chania is a lovely city, with many areas to visit! We rented a car for most of our stay to explore all the small villages and sites. Hotel offers good breakfast, decent rooms, and lovely location. Many restaurants and bars within walking distance. The food in the dinner buffet could be warmer - however, the quality and variety is lovely! The restaurant manager is very polite and smiling - and the staff very friendly. It was a lovely stay - and although we don't usually visit the same establishment twice, we recommend it.

The beautiful and peaceful hotel and villas situated just a short walk (up a steep hill) up from the lovely sandy beach of Stalos in the Chania region. The hotel has a feel of a boutique hotel with a variety of rooms and villas available across the site. The communal areas such as bar and pool area were spotlessly clean with nice quality comfortable sun loungers. I don’t think that the hotel was a full capacity, but we never struggled to get a lounger when we visited the pool. It was refreshing that there wasn’t a scramble for a spot first thing in the morning with people coming and going throughout the day. All very civilised. The team are all wonderful and genuinely want to make your stay with them memorable. We arrived late at night and were left a dinner in our fridge with some water, which was a nice welcome. There was a mix up with our room and the reception team were amazing in helping us with the situation and upgraded us to a fantastic room, to our huge appreciation. Special mention to Eleni and Elli who were always available to answer any questions with a smile and made us feel like VIPs for the duration. The team everywhere from housekeeping to bar and restaurant were genuinely wonderful. We thank Natalie for her Greek word of the day.. We were recommended to visit their affiliate beach bar,Isola, where you can hire the same comfortable loungers and they provide an ice bucket with water for the day. A very nice touch. The food in the restaurant is also wonderful. It’s very easy to catch the bus to Chania for €2 each way with the bus stop being a short walk.Old town is simply beautiful and a must see. We were half board, with the buffet being small, but a good choice for meat eaters. There are also a great choice of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend taking the bus along the coast to different beaches for a change of scenery. All in all, our experience of the Theo hotel was first class and would highly recommend a stay here.

Staff was so friendly and the pool area was very nice! Food was also good. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel everyday. This hotel has its own beach and beachbar/restaurant. Little bit everything for everyone! Would recommend staying there.

This hotel has the most friendly and service minded staff you can ever think of. They are there for you in any occasion, always smiling and helpfull. Elli, you are really doing a super job being among the guests and see if there is any things to help the guests with. The common areas in this hotel is modern, clean and very nice. The pool area have a lot of sunbeds which are of the best. The pool bar serves nice dishes and have a various list of drinks. The breaksfast buffet give you all you can desire. From egg and bacon, fruit and a sweet bite, just enjoy. Once a week it is arranged a Cretan night in the hotel with authentic dance and music and a nice buffet. The rooms have very good beds, are very clean, cleaning every day, new bed sheets every second day. But remember to bring your own beach towels. You can rent them at the hotel, but a bit expencive. The bathroom in our studio (701) was not a 4 star hotel worthy. It is very old and should have been renovated, but a pluss, always hot water, and clean. Every room have their own balcony, the most with a nice view to the sea. Wify worked very good all over the place. Next to our room Theo Minimarket is situated. Here you get nearly everything, except fresh bread and not much for dinner. They want us to use the hotel, don´t you think ? We asked to rent the inroom safe, but paying 30 euro for 2 weeks, and 30 euros for the last week, alltogether 60, we find it not worth. The place is complety safe. Be aware of different levels, stairs and steep slopes in the hotel area and down to the main street, but it is an elevator that brings you from reception level to ground level in the hotel, which helps a lot. But I will absolutely not recommend this hotel if you have any disability. We had some wonderfull weeks, a very nice start on the summer. Thanks to you all, in front and behind, you made our stay very pleasant! OBS. Have the doors in the wardrobe open as it otherwise can be a sour smell in the clothes because of humidity.

I have just returned from a most wonderful holiday in The Theo. All of the staff from the Guest Relations Eleftheria, reception Antonio breakfast and pool area Natalia and Georgio were very helpful and friendly and made me feel part of their family. I could not recommend this hotel enough. As a solo traveller I felt relaxed for my entire 10 days stay. The breakfast was a great choice the beds were firm and comfortable, the greek night was much fun. They also offer massages and will organise any trips for you. The location is perfect only 20 mins from Chania and you can walk the whole coastline along the beachside. I can't wait to return.

Hotel location excellent, majestically on the top of a hill, fantastic seaviews, beautiful plants, calm, 150 meters to beach, restaurants, bars, shops. Staff obliging, competent. Elli provided us with excursion ideas, organized reservations for us, always helpful, smiling! Antonios, young gentleman, genuinely helpful as well. We felt really welcome. Dining room beautiful, breakfast and dinner abundant, always fresh veggies and fruit, waiters attentive, welcoming, Natalia very helpful! Room clean, fantastic view, good bed. Beautiful pool area.
