Eagles Palace - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

We have just come to the end of our week’s stay at the eagles palace resort. It has truly been an exceptional holiday. There is nothing negative we can say about the place. The grounds are stunning and clean; service in the bars and restaurant are excellent; room cleaning service and reception staff are so attentive and you really feel that personalised touch by everyone. They can’t do enough for you. We holiday a lot: this year alone we have been on a cruise, to Dubai and been twice to Mallorca and like high standards… we were amazed at the level of detail, service and beautiful surroundings…. The sunsets are stunning! We are a family of four (x2 ages in 30’s and x2 ages in 60’s) plus a toddler and it met all our needs: Lovely kids playground, beautiful clear, warm seas and well maintained pools. They have a wonderful creche and, again, the staff there are just fantastic. We used the hotel’s boat and did a little excursion to a private beach on a small island where we had drinks and lunch, accompanied by mountain goats!! A very special visit. We were on a half board basis so we only had access to the main buffet, Malkaton. The food at the buffet was slightly repetitive, but always a good standard, so we didn’t mind. Unlike other hotels on half board, you didn’t get any discount off eating in the a-la-carte restaurants. Next time, we would look to do all inclusive so we could access more of the other restaurants the hotel had to offer. It’s a luxury resort and you can’t help but feel relaxed as soon as you walk through the doors. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay fabulous! We look forward to returning!

After 20 years before, we came back to Eagles Palace enhanced by a room upgrade to a spectacular junior suite with sea view.. We were reminded of over and above attention from staff..(maids to the general manager) beautifully cooked food and a location to die for all be it a bit quiet in October.. Having said that I would recommend this month as a fantastic value month saving a fortune.. Not wanting blistering sun we regularly saw 25° and as usual I still got burnt.. 12uros to the nearest village was a must with taxi service to alternate evenings.. If you want a quieter holiday with extreemly high service this 5 star hotel still delivers expectations..

We stayed in May this year at Eagles Resort. The interior design of the hotel is absolutely stunning, really one of the most beautiful I ever visited (and I already saw quite a lot ;-)) and the private beach is lovely. There are several high-quality restaurants on-site, though not all were open since we visited in the low season. We booked directly with the hotel, but something went wrong with our Bon Vivant package—it wasn't registered in the system, leading to a discussion at check-in and a wait until the next day to find out if we could benefit from the package, which left us with an icky feeling about potentially having to pay extra for drinks and meals. This wasn't the best start of our holiday and except for an apology, the hotel didn't do anything extra about it. Despite this, I must say the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dimitra from the shop and Lena and Anastasia from the Vinum restaurant were so incredibly kind. Our driver from the airport also made our trip memorable with his stories about local culture and an impromptu tour of Aristotle Park. However, the hotel's remote location was a bit of a downside. We found ourselves bound to the hotel for meals and drinks unless we took a taxi or rented a car (which I would recommend if you don’t want to be stick to the hotel location). Ouranoupoli is a nice village to visit with cute bars and shops. We had a great experience at Antonakis Jewellery shop – the owner, Stelios, was so sweet. A drawback of the hotel was the cost. Drinks are quite expensive, with a glass of wine costing 11 euros and a Cosmopolitan 15 euros at the beach bar, served in plastic cups, but straight at your - very comfortable - beach lounge beds because of the convenient bells on the umbrellas. We found the Bon Vivant package to be a much better deal for dining at the hotel's various restaurants and enjoying these – very nice - drinks. Watching the sunset from the Kamares terrace and dining at Amyra while watching the sea were absolute highlights. Worth mentioning with those experiences is that during our stay, there seemed to be bigger groups of tour agents or influencers visiting the hotel, and although we don’t mind, it felt like in some restaurant, a lot of the staff's attention was focused on them. However, we were disappointed with the spa and gym. The hammams and Power Plate machine weren't working when we were there, the jacuzzi was in my opinion on the colder side, there were a lot of leaves floating in the pool water and the overall space felt small and lacked the elegant touch of the rest of the resort. For activities, we discovered it's much cheaper to book outside the hotel. We wanted to rent a boat and found the hotel is exaggerating in prices for it, with the next-door Water Sports Centre of Nea Roda offering boats with or without driver for a much more reasonable price. Just returned from Eagle Palace after 10 days 6-16th June 2024. Not disappointed . This was a return stay. Hotel was lovely, clean and rooms were very comfortable. Staff again were very friendly and attentive. Thank you to Yani and staff at the pool bar for keeping us hydrated. Hopefully return again next year.

We recently stayed here for 10 days with our 2 year, and everything about our trip was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to meet every need. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The service was exceptional—truly WOW! A special shout-out to Viah, the childcare manager, who was amazing with our little one. The childcare was top-notch, with engaging activities and exceptional care. We felt completely at ease knowing our child was in such capable hands. We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the food options were fantastic. There was something for everyone, and the quality and variety of dishes were impressive. A huge thank you to Yanis, the bar manager, for making our stay special with his great service and friendly attitude. The cleanliness of the entire resort was also impeccable, our room was cleaned daily to a high standard and the turn down service, makes all the difference. We couldn't have asked for more. Overall, an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to families looking for a perfect getaway!

We have had 10 days at this idyllic hotel. It is beautifully furnished and well maintained with delightful gardens that lead to a beautiful beach.Everything from sun loungers by the pool or sea were well maintained with a plentiful supply of towels.Not only was the hotel complex of the highest standard but all of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.Our bedroom was cleaned and prepared to a high standard each day. We were on half board and we found that the choice of both breakfast and evening buffets was excellent- plentiful, varied each day and all dishes fresh and continuously replenished. The waiters were friendly and efficient as were the bar staff. Thanks to all at Eagles for making our stay so memorable
