GGuest UserFirst the positives - the staff was very nice and the breakfast was okay. Now the rest of it. My room was not cleaned the entire time I was there. Apparently, even if you want your bed made, you must request it each day. It was written on one of the many pieces of paper they gave me and I missed it - my bad. Now, let's talk about the rooms. This was one of the worst rooms I've ever been in. I had booked a queen room and when I checked in, I was told I was upgraded to a king suite. They put me in a king handicapped room. It had a bathroom, a bed, 2 nightstands, a dresser and a chair. There was no table and there was no desk. I had to work while I was there and had no place to put my computer. Necessity is the mother of invention so I ended up putting my computer on the ironing board which I set-up next the only chair in the room. Speaking of work, the internet was down all of one of the days I was there. Additionally, at least one of the elevators wasn't working every day. I used the pool and it was very unpleasant. It looked like it hadn't been updated in decades and most of the tile trim was missing. The ”beach towels” they provided were more like hand towels.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - ever again. Stay away - far away.

GGuest UserI arrived and was greeted promptly by a gentleman at the front desk. After taking care of the incidental hold, he handed me my key cards and directed me to the elevators. My room was large and very clean. It wouldve been helpful to have a guide of channels for the tv and washclothes in the room. The breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, chicken patties, pastries, waffle makers, and 4 types of cereal. If I was more hungry than I had been, the selection could've been better. It is located near a ton of eateries and shopping.

GGuest UserThe Moonrise is a great boutique hotel with really fun decor and art. It is clean and comfortable. They need to update their website regarding the onsite restaurant. It is only open for breakfast. There are several restaurants within walking distance. They are a pet friendly hotel, which is nice. There is no parking garage, just an open lot behind the hotel with dedicated parking for guests. Don't expect a valet to assist with unloading your luggage, though. The registration staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return if I return to St. Louis.

KKristiExcellent all around. Only small complaint was that I waited 40 minutes for the shuttle. In hindsight I probably should’ve put a pickup time in the special requests section when booking. I live abroad so need WiFi to make calls and was afraid I’d miss the shuttle if I went inside to make the call. It was there within 5 minutes of calling, and I had a good night’s sleep and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning.

GGuest UserDue to the somewhat industrial location, I did not have high expectations for this place. But I have been pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean and well stocked. They are in the middle of renovations, and my room is one of the renovated ones. Very comfortable and quiet.

PParker’s7585Hotel was great and clean and beautiful. I was to early for my room and I was exhausted from traveling and they managed to get me in my room very fast.. thank you front desk.. housekeeping did a lovely job on 518. Not one thing was wrong and I am picky. On the other hand, I do smoke and I went outside to sit in my vehicle and smoke late in the night and was harassed and attacked verbally by a gentleman claiming to be a police officer. Very hateful and rude and disrespectful. I was parked inside the gated lot. And was approached with rude questions and insulting tones like me and my husband were criminals. And because I stood up for myself and refused to back down and answer private questions about where I was staying and what room,to someone off duty with no badge, he was trying to get me kicked out if my room in the middle of the night. The police officer on duty help resolve the situation and I went to my room. But it was a very bad moment all because we couldn’t sleep and was having a conversation in our vehicle inside the gated parking for the crown plaza.. shame on the man for being rude and thanks to the officer that handled things well. Maybe should get that guy outta that line of work. But I would stay again hands down cause the hotel was great.. and staff was amazing.. thank you crown plaza

PParker’s7585Me and my husband booked the night before and got there around 4am after traveling all day. And they were nice enough to let us check in early. At no extra cost so we could sleep. And be refreshed for our day and we were a little late waking up and they wasn’t moved at all about our late check out. Police patrolled the premisses a lot so we felt extra safe. And it was very quiet considering it was close to highway and exit. And it was close to a restaurant and convenience store that was amazing and had everything we needed. And we was located in the center of everywhere we had to be. Great place to stay. Thank you all for the kindness and hospitality

PParker’s7585This was a last minute pick and emergency and my finances were low. They took me in last minute and check in was easy and they were very nice and my room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable to my surprise. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you all for the friendly service. I hope to see you all again in the near future. I come to the city alot. And this will be my next pick.
