The G Hotel by JL

The worst hotel I ever been to. Black mould in many places in the bathroom And we were not able to lock our door which they never fixed, so we had to move to another room. Even that new room had black mould and smelled very bad. Breakfast was so poor and bad that we have to go outside the hotel to get breakfast every morning. The staff were not friendly and helpful, and it’s very noisy outside the hotel. I would never recommend this to anyone.

A lovely boutique hotel, the room was beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities we needed. The bed was huge and comfortable and there were extra pillows on the bed. The hotel is conveniently located near to the bus stops, restaurants, clubs and shops. We found it to be an ideal starting place for our day trips each morning. We considered hiring a car but because of how easily accessible and conveniently located the hotel is we were glad we did not hire a car. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. We arrived outside of reception working hours but the check in instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I stayed in this lovely small hotel for 5 days. It is a facility with excellent position, very clean , with charming and helpfuly staff. They are very pleasant and you will always get advice or asistence. Special regards for Mrs Natali, Mrs Natalija and Mr Martin. I truly recommended.

We were very happy to stay in this hotel. Although it was a 3 star hotel, but it felt like a solid 4 star. The rooms were always clean and fresh. The breakfasts were great. Everyone were nice and friendly. Great location, you can get anywhere with the bus. We had a very early check out and they were very nice to prepare us breakfast to take out with us.

Definitely the best hotel! Clean, wonderful stuff, good breakfast and everything is near. Right before the hotel you have buss station and also store where you can buy bus card. I recommend it to everyone!

We stayed at The G hotel for 3 nights during our visit to Malta, it was in a very convenient area, bus stop across the road and near 50-60 meters depending of where you want to go. The room was spacious, cleaning every 2 days, helpful staff at the reception, breakfast was ok, 2 supermarket nearby and also many restaurants and bars within walking distance

This hotel looks nice on the pictures but reality is so different. First; It is noisy: 1:30 am even on a Monday night and drunken people are yelling. It feels like a box event with people clapping their hands…of course nobody is here to ask them to leave.. The corridor is dump (see picture). The mattress is so uncomfortable. This was such a terrible experience. I wouldn’t have accepted to spend a single night for free. What a nightmare!

When I make a choice of a hotel where I would stay on my vacation, I usually look for ordinary things, such as comfortable beds, clean rooms, good location, reasonable price... We'll, this is how I choose The G Hotel by JL, but I found much more than I could ever imagine, it was literally life changing experience! Anyway, I made a mistake and booked a hotel for completely wrong dates, and realized it too late, when we arrived in front of a hotel at 2AM, and called emergency number from the front door to complain for not getting late check-in instructions. So, we basically woke up the hotel manager at 2AM because of something that was our fault! And what happened- he didn't hang up on us, he didn't say: "I'm sorry, it's not our concern.", he actually found a way to help us! At the end, Gordon managed to settle us up in his hotel, he and Natalija, the receptionist and the nice man who was there for breakfast every morning, made us feel at home and taken care of! So, I highly recommend this hotel, because the people who work there are the kindest of people you definitely want to meet, and the hotel is great too- clean, comfortable, well located and affordable! Once more, thank you, Gordon, for everything you did for us!

The G Hotel is well located in St.Julians and has good potential if would be managed a bit better. The building is new and fresh, finishing are not luxury but are still good. This is what I did not like from my stay: - At check in they force you to write in a paper your credit card numbers and expiring date as deposit. - Breakfast is too poor, there is not much to eat. - Cleaning of the room was good at check in but was really bad during the stay (I attach photo how I found the bed after cleaning). - There is no wardrobe in the room, just a tiny corner to hang very few clothes. - There is an old guy at reception (I believe he is the manager) who is really not friendly and he is bit rude. I don't think he knows how to professionally interact with good clients. Girls at reception are really sweet and nice but they look more like trainee/students and they don't speak english very well. - Check out time was 11am, we asked to check out bit later at 12 and the same guy replied it is not possible because someone else was checking in at 1pm (check in time in this hotel is 2pm and they have not only our room). If price is cheap and you not demanding person you can stay at this hotel, otherwise there is much better places to stay in St.Julians.
