AVOID unless you want to stay in a loud and dusty building site with a migrane! The high storey building located around 100m away collapsed 1 week before and the building 2 doors away is being demolished and constant drilling and banging basement excavation all day from 7am to 6pm! After work finishes there is non stop dust! I am asthmatic so it was a nightmare for me! We were assured that work stops on 15th June - the hotel management do not tell the truth and do not care about guests - they only care about the money! Josephine the housekeeping manager was nice and tries her best, the security guard from Nepal was nice and John on reception does his best working for devious and dishonest management (Dr Charmaine) - we felt sorry for the staff and I am sure they don’t stay working here long! Do not believe the photos! It’s nothing like on the website - very filtered and edited! ‘Swimming pool’ more like a paddling pool - very dangerous with sharp stones lining it and no steps. Barely any sun loungers for a 90 room hotel probably only 10 - really?? The management tell lies as we were promised an upgrade that was denied. No door on the bathroom in our room, tacky decoration and too many gadgets that don’t work - no instruction manual and staff do not understand how to work the to or gadgets. This hotel isn’t at all as advertised so BEWARE! We were eventually moved by Jet2 after 3 nights (charged £115 for the privilege) - I asked to move on the first morning to be moved. Couldn’t wait to get out of this here! Breakfast very limited and small portions and staff paranoid about charging you for anything ‘extra’ - horrendous service and had to keep asking for my food and coffee. Tiny useless mini bar fridge - you can’t use it for anything apart from 4 cans of pop. Malta is a building site full of rude tourists - it makes Turkey and Poland seem polite! It was like the Wild West! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED…..BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

One of the most well appointed hotels you could wish for, fantastic staff, delicious breakfast - simple buffet with freshly made and interesting hot options. Three things to bear in mind: 1. currently some construction noise nearby - that is temporary. But the other two problems are not: 2. the pool area is really small and booking beds not an option - there are places in st Julian’s (short walk) that you can sit on for small fee. 3. It’s on the border of paceville - which is teenager heaven but not for me! Otherwise it would be a solid 5star review

Stayed in a superior room as a couple for 4 days at the end of May 2025. Room was spacious ticking all the basic needs. The staff is very friendly, John, Eva, Cesar and the likes did a great job overall. Breakfast items are pretty simple but the service is pretty efficient. Location is great as well. The only question mark was the cleaning process where we did not have any over 4 days, only the bed was made daily we noticed. Perhaps this is the new normal due to eco friendliness concerns however we would have appreciated at least cleaning of the toilet as well as removing the rubbish/used glasses from the room. I am assuming this is how the hotel operates. Overall a great experience.

Gorgeous hotel. Super friendly staff. Lovely modern boutique hotel. Superb breakfast too. I was made to feel very welcome. The only downside is the rooms aren't cleaned daily.. I stayed 4 nights and they merely made the bed each.. no top up of drinking water, no fresh towels or toilet paper, no new bed sheets over 4 days etc.. floor wasn't cleaned at all during my stay. Other than the room cleaning.. a brilliant stay.
