Five-star recommendation, super location, invincible sea view, breakfast included, mainly the scenery is very good, just next to the train station, there is a small road into the restaurant, the bar and the bar are sea views, there is a large terrace outside, sitting can drink Afternoon tea, sit at the bar and drink at night, watching the seascape outside. The room I booked was small, but it was not bad. It also provided slippers and bathrobes, bath towels, etc. It was very convenient to go down to the beach for a few minutes. It was the most recommended hotel next to the beach, and it was relatively new.

St Ives Bay is a large hotel which fronts onto Porthminister Beach and the terrace, the rooms are basic but clean and tidy albeit with a slightly dated decor. On my visit, the lift was out of order which made a room on the third floor a bit of a hike (but it's probably better for my health to get the steps in!) The hotel is perfectly positioned if you are using St Ives train station and is only a short stroll from the centre of town. The facilities at the hotel include reception, a bar and a large dining area, there is a car park to the rear (watch out for the birds resting in the rafters and pooping on the cars!) The hotel offers a buffet-style breakfast which includes both continental and full English options. Overall the hotel is good - it looks a bit out of date, saggy and worn but the service provided is good and the views around are fab.

Facing the sea, the scenery is picturesque! It's very close to everywhere. There is a bus stop just two steps away. There are also buses to various train stations. The hotel's restaurant is a sea view restaurant. The scenery is so beautiful! The pictures can all be seen in the hotel!

Absolutely perfect in every way. We booked the sunset room and it is modern, spacious, clean, and has a great view out to St Ives bay. The bed and pillows are comfortable, great bathroom and shower, and a nicely equipped kitchen with Nespresso. We really savored and enjoyed every minute staying in the beautiful room. Highly recommended.

The lounge had comfortable seating, and the shared kitchen was fully equipped. It was convenient to have a space to prepare meals, especially for longer stays. The terrace was a highlight, offering stunning sea views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Ocean House is a wonderful place to stay in St Ives. It offers comfort, great amenities, and stunning views. I would highly recommend it and would love to visit again.
