Our first visit to Jersey for our 35th Wedding Anniversary as such we wanted it to be special to have an experience and memories which would remain with us for a very long time. I can safely say that it did just that. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Set out on lovely grounds that are very well maintained. The food in the restaurant was exceptional (apart from the tinned pears at breakfast sorry 😊). Special mention to Marcus who meticulously managed the team in the restaurant and made us feel welcome and special. We were given an upgrade to half board, the restaurant offers an exceptional menu, the food delicious and freshly prepared with most of the produce sourced locally. The Hotel Manager Tim Brooke took the time to give us a some tips of where to go and visit. Places for walks/hikes and to shop. Jersey was our first visit and it has some breath taking views and walks. Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 4 nights. Had a lovely stay. Feedback - our room was a bit disappointing with water stains on the ceiling . We were offered to change - But I had already unpacked. There were also quite a few cobwebs. The real shoddy thing was the cushion covers , they were generic pillow covers pulled over smaller cushions , made it feel rather cheap. Dining - Patrick the restaurant manager was attentive but I always felt rushed to order. Compliments: Lovely & helpful reception staff and restaurant staff. Lovely breakfast . Top notch. Lovely bed linen and comfortable beds. Fresh bottles of water daily . Comfortable homely sitting rooms Great taxi drivers Lovely poolside with great flowers. Although the gardens could do with some attention. All in all a lovely break.

We chose a deluxe room as it was spacious and nicely decorated. The room was superb, really comfortable with lots of windows and light. The hotel is sadly closing at the end of October to be converted to self catering which we are so disappointed about as we have a few locations that we revisit regularly and La Place would have been one of them. The reception staff were super helpful and friendly, bar and restaurant staff equally so, everyone clearly enjoyed their job and it showed. Breakfast was superb, a large buffet of healthy options plus an excellent selection of cooked options, a large range of juices and plentiful tea/coffee. We loved this hotel and would have loved to return to it.

Booked 2 cottages for the Easter weekend [17-20th]. Booked direct so received airport transfers. The 4 of us arrived at the hotel and were greeted with the warmest welcome i have ever had at any hotel i have stayed at. The cottages were very high quality, exceeding expectations. All the staff here deserve a mention. The drivers, reception, bar/restaurant, cleaners. Clean & spotless throughout, & genuine warmth from everybody made this a very special break for my family. The La Place is one of the very few places i would want to revisit. It exudes charm and high standards, and delivered on every level. WE WILL REVISIT.

Fantastic overnights stay at the La Place as ever! Never disappoints! Rooms are comfortable, clean and cosy! Welcome drink on arrival to set the scene in the right way! Lovely dinner made all the better by our server Sanaa! And a glorious breakfast to finish off our stay! Highly recommended! :)

4th visit to this amazing place we now call our 2nd home. I use Tripadvisor a lot to research places to stay when we travel and I don’t think I have ever come across a property with such positive, lovely reviews. Almost 100% give top scores - and I couldn’t agree more. We always book a self catering cottage and for the last few years we have stayed in Ivy cottage but this year we were across in Beech. The layout of the cottage was identical so we still felt like it was our ‘usual’ one. All the staff we spoke to were extremely friendly and as usual, the lovely guys behind the bar remembered us and we had lots of laughs and fun. My daughters love the pool - always warm and clean. The reception smelled delicious and I have bought the diffuser they have to recreate the smell at home. Can’t wait till be back next year..

We have just returned from a brilliant staycation at La Place. We were made to feel welcome the minute that we stepped through the door. All the staff, especially Patrick in the restaurant, were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food was just amazing , we couldn’t fault a thing. Our room was tastefully furnished with everything that you would expect to have in first class hotel. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

An idyllic country hotel in the heart of St Peter with stunning sunsets and fabulous exquisite menus all year round The staff are really on board to meet all your dietary requirements , a truly hospitable crew who are welcoming and have your full attention. The hotel pool is beautiful with sun loungers and attentive service plus warm throughout the summer months and I am excited for my family to stay here in April. A true relaxing experience.
