My room had a large red stain on the carpet right by the bed. When I mentioned it to the front desk they said they knew nothing about it. They said they will clean it during the day while I was out, but upon my return you could tell no one had tried to clean it. Overall, a huge disappointment for a Marriott stay. The window area had a dead fly and the room did not feel clean.

Spent 1 night in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that had 2 queen beds. The room had many signs of aging which is common for many older RI properties. What I found somewhat disturbing is major water damage in one of the bathrooms on the wall near the shower. The wall paper had been completely removed from this section of wall so it was evident they were aware of the problem. The sheet rock was so disfigured near the baseboard that I touched it to see if it was wet. To my surprise it was so wet my finger made an indention in the wall. Disgusting! I'm sure the hotel was a 100% capacity due to a major event that was in town. But this room really shouldn't be rented out until this issue is resolved. No telling what kind of mold issues are lurking there.

I can’t recommend this property at all. The hotel is not well maintained, has a very odd odor throughout but most importantly the fire safety system does not work properly. You can hear smoke detector low battery beeps throughout the hotel and when we informed the front desk ours were beeping their solution was to remove it altogether, a flagrant violation of fire safety code.

Just do not stay here. They place smells of cat urine. It’s sooo bad that I had to have my windows open. When I brought it up with the front desk staff they took the I go down but I think they knew of the issue and acted like it’s new. There were cats meowing outside when I was smoking at night. The ammonia smell was awful in the halls and the worse was near the elevators. I reported them because it’s just too disgusting and not sanitary.

The rooms were clean and well appointed - layout was the standard Residence Inn room, which we like. The hotel was quiet and well maintained. The staff was attentive and responsive to our needs. The location was close to restaurants and shopping. All in all, a very nice stay

We stayed here for six days to attend a conference. Check in was easy and we were thanked for being Elite members and upgraded to a King room, 305. For our entire stay, the people at the front desk were very nice, professional, and helpful. Our room was average with a few issues. The tub would not drain so at the end of your shower, you were standing in water up to your ankles. I really disliked the bathroom set up. The bed is only a couple feet away from the toilet. The bathroom light is connected to the fan so when you turn the light on, a really loud fan also comes on which isn't great in the middle of the night when others are sleeping. The bed/bathroom area was really tight. The breakfast was typical Residence Inn, except they had this yummy cinnamon bread out everyday that was delicious! A big annoyance was that for the entire week the ice machine had a sign on it that said it was under maintenance. Clearly it was broken and needs to be repaired/replaced. The location of this place is conveniently located near Fayetteville and only a little over an hour to Eureka Springs. This was an average property with some issues and I might try a different Marriott property next time.

The good first. Check in was easy and the staff was great. The bad. Is this hotel being renovated or is it just run down? Most of the items I saw point to it is not being maintained. The stairwell entry door near my room would not close so anyone could walk into the hotel, no card key required. There was no handrail on the stairway. There were holes in the wall where a handrail would be mounted but no handrail. The sofa in the room was in bad shape. The fabric was torn open in two locations exposing the frame. The shower leaked. At the end of ten minute shower there was a big puddle of water on the floor. No idea where it was leaking from. Toilet valve did not always work. I think that is enough to give you an idea of the condition of the property. Maybe I was in the worst room in the hotel but the door not closing and a missing stairway hand rail is unacceptable.
