Clean, Tidy, Quiet, worth 5 stars or more, highly recommend, 15 mins drive to city center, supermarket in walking distant

Staff were great. Hotel and room were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was average - bit too long on the hot plate. Disappointed to be charged £8 (plus a 20p transaction charge!) to park in the hotel car park overnight.

I’ve stayed here a few times, I think I’ll stay somewhere else next time. The hotel staff are doing their best, but there is no communication between staff. I paid for a week’s breakfast, but the member of staff on breakfast asked me to prove I had paid (he wasn’t actually on duty when he came down). The actual quality of the breakfast was awful, with several items missing and no staff member on duty. I cancelled my breakfast as a result and ate elsewhere. A member of Dobbies next door said guests have similar experiences and they have a steady trade as a result. I had a meal first night, the staff member told me ‘it’s best to tell you what we haven’t got’. The meal itself was insubstantial and awful at the same time. Plus, the room was incredibly warm. I believe that this contributed to growth of a virus I had during my stay. The fact that I have had neither a survey or a goodbye speaks volumes. Due to illness I had to stay elsewhere (Travelodge on The Strand, Liverpool). This was much more efficient and welcoming hotel. I would also point out that this Travelodge near JLA is very popular with Liverpool fans during the season. I’d advise them to walk alone, elsewhere.
