When we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again

It was my first time to travel to Dunhuang and I chose this hotel. I stayed for a week. It was really a plus for the trip. The hotel environment is clean and has a retro resort style. The layout of the room is elegant without losing the mood. The service is attentive and incomparable. Comfortable. There is no need to mention the details of the room. The service is particularly good. After cleaning, the room service staff will thoughtfully leave a greeting card. The front desk is also very good. Fruits and Dunhuang specialty preserved fruits are placed in the room. I have to say that the details are really warm. Heart. The hotel also has a restaurant. The dishes prepared by the chef are really good and very cost-effective. The mutton must be given a thumbs up👍👍👍

The environment is beautiful and the service is very considerate! One night my wife was sick and they sent me ginger tea. The breakfast was simple but tasted very good. The only thing that needs to be improved is the dishes for lunch and dinner. However, since the hotel is not far from the city, there is no disadvantage!

Very good stay experience, the front desk clerk was very good, we delayed to the hotel very late on the road, but the young lady at the front desk patiently checked in for us, the hotel heating is also very good, the outside temperature is minus 20 degrees indoor temperature is very comfortable, highly recommended this hotel

GGuest UserI went to this Starry Sky B&B during the summer vacation. Isn’t it magical? There is a small Crescent Lake next to the accommodation area. It is so beautiful. The room facilities are also complete. I slept very comfortably. The experience is really good. It is a separate area. , it is very quiet at night, no motorcycles will pass by. The most important thing is that the starry sky over there is really beautiful, the field of vision is wide, visible to the naked eye, there is no light pollution, and the effect is excellent. You can also set off fireworks there if conditions permit. , very beautiful

BBo-JennaReally recommend this place! Very nice hostel owners who know a lot about the area and give some great recommendations. The location was also absolutely ideal with good food and shopping nearby. The rooms itself had comfy beds, big spacious lockers, good airconditioner, and enough room for multiple people. The showers and chilling area were also really nice. And not to forget, the dogs were absolutely adorable and very friendly!! One of the best hostels I have been to in a while.

Service: Very friendly. After parking the car, the hotel helped to carry the luggage in. Fruits were prepared in the room, and drinks were available. It was really generous! There was also a washing machine available.
Facilities: There are projectors, electric toilets, etc., all good
The most important thing is that the hotel is very close to Mingsha Mountain, and you can walk there without worrying about traffic jams. We went there on the first night. There were really 10,000 people at the concert. After the show, we walked back easily without worrying about not being able to get a taxi or traffic jams. The next morning, we went to play the beach project again. There were not many people in the morning, and there was no need to queue up for camel riding. After playing, we went back to take a shower and check out at noon. It was really convenient.

The breakfast was also very good, and the hotel was in a good location. It was very cheap to take a taxi. It was very close to Shazhou Night Market and Crescent Moon Lake, and it only cost 5 yuan to get to the night market. There was great choice for breakfast and the staff were very attentive, even bringing local dishes over to us to try and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel reception staff were also extremely friendly and helpful always ready to assist with a smile. A big thank you to Wang Ying who helped to hail a taxi and explain where we wanted to go.

GGuest UserThe room was large and clean. Yogurt, fruit and breakfast were provided. Xiao Dai and Xiao He, the front desk staff, were also very nice, very gentle and patient. This hotel also provides airport pick-up and drop-off services. The person who was responsible for sending us was Master Li, who brought us local special snacks. The service was very enthusiastic throughout the whole process, and they helped us move our luggage and take pictures.
Actually, I originally booked another hotel, but later I found that this hotel has a very good location, right next to the night market, and there is a bus to the scenic area next to it. There is also airport pick-up service. It is really very convenient.
In short, I am very grateful to Xiao Dai, Sister Xiao He and Master Li for their warm and thoughtful service. I really highly recommend this restaurant! ! !

HHeong Siew YinLocation is very ideal, along a pleasant Main Street, around 5 to 8 mins walk to night market, yet away from the rowdiness of tourists. Just opposite there are convenience shops, a western bakery (Angelia) and stretch of small restaurants in an alley which are of good quality.
Front desk services are fantastic especially helpful for foreigners ( though they don’t speak English- try to use e-translator), regarding local attractions and getting a cab for you if encounter difficulties. They are genuinely helpful to try to overcome your difficulties. Special mention on Ya Jin who even asked her regular taxi driver to accompany us to buy the Mogao Grottoes tickets and arranged for a long distance taxi trip to Liuyuan South Railway station. Wang Na also offered her WeChat contact number if we have difficulties coming back at night. Really warm hospitality.
Even the hotel driver who fetched us from the airport was nice(complimentary service). The housekeepers are too hardworking.
Only complain I have is the breakfast which served exactly the same thing every morning and of limited choices. Thus Angelia bakery just opposite was really a good alternative.

BBerrrrrrrrrWe got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly.
Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also.
Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area.
The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out.
I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

SSeqsyuttI had 4 nights stay and liked this hostel room spacecious and clean. The owner 'Siao Fang' is very friendly and helpful even knowledgeable if any queries, he would delighted to share and guide you. The cleaning ladies help to clean the room daily and replenishment are sufficient. Hostel in a strategic location about 15 mins walk to D'un Huang night market and you can catch local buses to cressant desert with only RMB2 and Mogao Cave RMB5 only.
It is a worth for value and if I have a chance to be back to here in future, this definitely would be my first choice by heart and strongly recommend to all my friends. Thank You for your unconditional service and I have had a wonderful stay at your place
