Relais le Macine di Stigliano

What a lovely hotel. In a quiet peaceful location not far from Siena and other Tuscany villages and attractions. Staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and attentive - couldn’t do enough for us and really worked to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Room was spacious, clean and lovely to stay in, with a little garden terrace to ourselves. Great pool. Plenty of space for relaxing. Restaurant served superb food and great recommendations for wine and drinks. They also gave great recommendations for other restaurants nearby.

It was our first stay at Relais Macine but definitely not our last. This place is just amazing. Our flight was delayed so we arrived pretty late, but this was no problem for Agostino at reception, he took time to show us around and reserved a dinner table for us. The place is a beautifully renovated old villa and yet kept the charm and character of when it was originally built. The rooms have all modern amenities you can ask for. The meals are a little pricy but definitely great quality. Elisa and her team - from reception to housekeeping and the staff in the restaurant are amazing and truly live great hospitality. A big thanks to all of you for making our stay simply amazing! We enjoyed every minute.

Had a very nice stay. Peaceful and quiet. Good base to explore Tuscany. Service was personable and at a very high standard. Restsurant on property was fantastic. Homemade pasta changed daily and was incredibly good. Service in the dining room was also excellent. Will mosr definitely stay again when in Tuscany.

A wonderful property with superb service. Impeccable physical facility, accommodating staff, and excellent restaurant/bar. The pool area is well done, very relaxing and beautiful. Hotel is close to so many sites and wineries, yet secluded and intimate. Fantastic!

Relais Le Macine Di Stiglio was an absolutely fantastic destination. Our room was very well appointed. Our view was superb. The chef was amazing, his dishes were outstanding, truly representing the flavors and specialities of Tuscany. The service was excellent. My husband and I both highly recommend Relais Le Macine Di Stiglio.

I don’t recommend. The property is difficult to be accessed . The breakfast is the same every day , there is no variety . No facilities for children . They don’t offer any recommendation for the area : activities etc . The bed was not comfortable and wasn ‘t very clean . They were mad that we had diapers in our room :)) ok but we have a baby and they had to come to take out the trash . Only 1 day we refused the standard cleaning because we were left and the babysitter asked only for the trash to be removed but they did not . For the rest of the days , the cleaning hasn’t been done properly either . We had some fruits from outside for the baby and they were extremely upset for this ( they did not mention we need to request room service every time the baby wants to eat a fruit ) . After they mentioned we are not allowed, we put everything on the side and mentioned to them they can remove everything . You cannot say anything to them because they are always right. Overall it’s the worst experience we had . We travel a lot and never ever happened to find a property which inspects the room like they do while you are still there . It’s like a police and you feel you have no privacy !
