"The room was quite clean, but the facilities felt a bit outdated. The air conditioning kept turning off by itself and provided almost no cooling, which made it very stuffy in the summer. However, the front desk could provide a fan. The showerhead in the bathroom was fixed in place; the outer ring sprayed hot water, while the center sprayed cold, instead of mixing them. The hotel room key was an old-fashioned magnetic card that easily demagnetized, so I had to go to the front desk every day to get it reactivated. The hotel service was good, and there were many guests. Breakfast was basically a traditional English breakfast."

"We arrived at 1.30pm on an extremely hot day and paid an extra £15.00 for an early check in. The member of staff who greeted us was friendly and helpful. He took my case up a couple of flights of stairs. The room was as others have mentioned like a sauna. There was a fan in the room blowing warm air about. We had an evening meal booked in the restaurant which we enjoyed and found to be good value as part of the meal deal. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fine. We were glad to check out after such an uncomfortable night Air conditioning should be bought in to make sure people who pay quite high rates don't have to suffer like we did."
