We had an absolutely fantastic meal at Kilcorn Lodge this evening. The crispy chicken and french salad was divine and there wasn’t a crumb left on my plate. The bar was so warm and cosy, not too busy and with very attentive and efficient staff. Will definitely be back again!

This is an older building and reminds me of a lot of the older fashioned hotels that are quaint and have been built up over decades instead of the modern carbon copies that we come to expect. This place definitely has a quaint charm and soul to the place. Some areas inside and out could do with some extra attention but the room, bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The food in the bar was good and the staff were friendly. I did not try the spa facilities, they just weren’t enticing from afar. A little more upkeep to the building would make a huge difference.

Booked this hotel for a stop off before going onto Cork. Good value and the views were really nice. Food was good and staff very nice also. It’s close to the rock of Cashel where we visited. It’s out on it’s on own so not much nearby or walking distance. Reason for only 4 stars is the room was bit dated and the bathroom could do with modernisation. The pool was nice but quite small and didn’t feel like the cleanest. Changing rooms basic too. Some of the towels we got for the pool weren’t great. Other than that very good.

It was a lovely quiet quaint hotel , staff were amazing, reserving me dinner when I was coming in late. Drinks in bar lovely and breakfast great too . Surroundings fab. Pool might be bit dated but nice extra touch a wee swim .restaurant food really good also. Recommend for a relaxing stay.

What an amazing place, what amazing staff!! My 2 best friends and I keep coming back here for our catch ups for a reason. Everyone is so amazing. The food is gorgeous, rooms are so comfortable and airy. Thank you to everyone who makes all our stays so fantastic. Megan for meeting us so warmly. Trisha and Sean for making us feel so special as soon as we walked inside door, Sonya for being the best craic, Natalie for looking after us so well at breakfast, to Shelly, Samadi, Libby, Megan, Daniel & Gavin for making our stay so special. Words can’t describe my shock and horror at the standard of this lodge. Please see photos attached. They speak for themselves. They charged us $250 a night for a one star standard. I’ve never in my life stayed in such a neglected space. Even hostels from my past were cleaner and in better shape. So so disappointing. The leisure centre is disgusting- mould, green slime on pool walls, stuff floating in pool. All so so shabby, old and left to disrepair. Lovely lovely staff however at reception and in restaurant. Such a shame because the reception area furniture and that of the dining room are nice. But the smell when entering the front door and as you walk down the hallways is so so horrible and off putting. The entire place needs to be fumigated and completely renovated. Don’t stay here unless you are hiking and need a bed only

Disastrous experience hotel bedroom was good size bathroom needs upgrade breakfast was dreadful ordered porridge it was disgusting couldn't eat it bacon was burnt we complained to manager we were told nothing wrong with porridge and that's the way they serve bacon he was extremely rude would never visit this hotel again for 20 years we as a family have stayed every year

Lovely rooms and friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful location at the foot of the Galty mountains. Nice small pool and gym right next to the main building. We also had a family meal (12 people) , very tasty while enjoying the great views. There is a lovely set menu in the restaurant and an a la cart in the bar.

Brilliant place for Sunday lunch. Travelled here with my partner today. We were met by a lovely lady who told us the television options were limited and sat us in a much more appropriate location within the dining room. The food was pure smashing and the service we received was some of the best I have seen. Will be back next Sunday for food again.
