I forgot to put the parking permit in the window of the car and they had our vehicle towed to another city. It was very expensive to get the car back. We were not the only one that happened to on that day. There was a woman by herself that also have her car towed. You just go out to your car and it is gone. When you go back inside to tell they the say, "Did you put your parking permit in the window?" So they do it on purpose.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. Hidden gem in South Padre Island. Great hotel, in a beautiful and quiet area. Room was in great condition when we arrived. Staff was very friendly and helpful the whole stay. Will definitely stay here again. Looking forward to coming back soon.

The rooms are dirty the wall outlets do not work the shower curtain is ripped all across the top the wifi is sketchy and they do not give you a code breakfast is a piece of toast.coffee makers do not work.If you pay in advance then discover the deplorable conditions they won't refund your money.

the receptionist was rude when we were checking out, not only that but she told me “shut the f**** up” & called me a “b****”. there service ****** nd way overpriced, not clean at all, only had toast nd coffee for breakfast to 8-10 like i said not friendly at all just rude! this was the lady that cussed me out nd i asked for a manager, nd she would not give me someone to talk to.

me and my family was going to get a hotel and the 2 day we stayed there,OUR CAR GOT TOWED!we had to talk to the owner who made this hotel,it was sick of the people!!and my cousin who was staying there saw a freaking crab at there door!!at 2:30AM when we were asleep the car got towed...the workers there was so mean!!we had to pay alot of money to get our car back!!and there was bugs in the room and we asked for bug spray but they said no!!it was very terrible!!and there was food in the microwave!!this was the worst hotel you can go!!im never going to this hotel again!!we even had to call police in front of everyone,the pool was nice but i do not want you coming to blue bay inn!!this will happen to you!!you will lost money because they will tow your car and makes you pay more money,and there might be bugs in your room!!i am never EVER coming back to this hotel ever ever EVER again...

We've been coming to padre twice a year since 2017 and have ALWAYS stayed at bluebay inn! We love the bay view from our balcony! The sunsets every night are absolutely amazing! Its the only bayside hotel ON the water. Its your average joe hotel with a nice pool/jacuzzi/ and grills! Front desk staff are always welcoming and friendly and have always accommodated our requests throughout the years!

What a horrible place to stay. Rooms are filthy and the staff is rude and offended if you point it out. They only stay open so they can Scam people in the parking lot towing there cars away. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your parking pass isn't displayed perfectly in the winshield they tow you and will not reimburse you the $286 plus a taxi to go get your car out of impound

Don’t park there and don’t stay there. If you park in their empty lot for more than 10 minutes you’ll get towed. They make more money this way than renting out their crappy rooms. They are scamming you so beware.
