Tui Blue Scheherazade Adults Only

My mum and I have just spent a week at this hotel!! We absolutely loved it, we literally had no faults! This hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Although this is adults only, we found there was a mix of groups at the hotel from couples to full families of adults. This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, from the security staff on the beach, the cleaners, the life guards, bar staff and waiters, everyone is so friendly and can not do enough for you! Massive shout out to Tito, Katty, Ibrahim and the rest of the TUI entertainment team. They made our trip, we loved that they came to have a chat with us and made us feel really welcome on our first few days at the hotel. There are so many members of staff that deserve a massive compliment, they literally could not do enough for us. From the get go, we met Osama and Allan on the beach, they were so lovely welcoming us to Tunisia. Osama, Rean and Biha could not do enough for us at the pool, every morning they would help us with pillows for the sun beds and mattresses, they did this prior to anyone having to ask them to get them. 10/10 service by the lads at the pool. Down by the pool at the beach, Ahmed was amazing. He constantly had our drinks topped up, he was so friendly and we loved chatting to him. It got to the point that we didn’t even need to ask him for drinks, he would recognise when our drinks were empty and bring some more. He was amazing, we massively appreciated him going to get our drinks for us. Everyone in the snack bar, the pool and the beach are so hardworking, you can really tell by the service given in this hotel. On a night time we were regularly served by Ahmed and Allah in Thea’s. Both were so lovely; keeping our drinks topped up and making us laugh. Anis in the upstairs bar was hilarious and even waved our bus off when we were leaving, he was a proper legend and again works incredibly hard. Both Nazir, who served us in the evenings and Anwar who served us in the mornings was great. The staff at this hotel really know how to go that extra mile and make you feel special, they didn’t treat anyone differently and it was just such an incredible experience. The hotel is well run, we went on a two day trip to the Sahara during our stay. The hotel ensured that we had a packed lunch to go with on the morning of the trip and that a small breakfast was served for those going on the trip. We also took a visit to the al a carte restaurant on site for my mums birthday, our lovely waiter Nazir who we have every night spoke to his friend who then decorated the table and when the dessert was coming out, organised for the waiters and the chefs to come sing my mum happy birthday. It made the meal extra special. We were shocked by the quality of the food. The food looked and tasted like it had come out of a swanky restaurants, it was nice to have a break from the buffet. We ate at the snack bar which was good, the service was amazing but we preferred the main restaurant

What a lovely 11 nights we have spent at Tui blue Scheherazade where we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, this was our 2nd visit to this beautiful hotel and was welcomed back with open arms The staff are fantastic and completely go out of their way for you, from the reception, restaurant, pool & beach guys to the guys at the bar, would have to certainly give a big shout out to Nizar in the restaurant, always happy and very friendly, then all the staff were, when your glass was empty another one would appear The food was lovely, always something to choose and we did not go hungry, we ate in the main restaurant mainly but used the outside pool bar for lunch times on a few days which was great. All the rooms have sea views which are lovely especially in the mornings when you see the beautiful sunrise, the rooms are on the small side but very comfortable and modern with a nice size bathroom with a good size shower, our room was on the top floor 804 which we requested on the tui app and really pleased we was allocated it as had great views along the beach. There was always a space to sit in the evenings either in the bar or in the reception area and very well set out. We used a private transfer from airport to hotel and back, we also used them for a trip to El Jem, their service was second to none, Jackie Hopkins and her husband Tarik are just such lovely people and would highly recommend their service. We shall certainly return to Scheherazade again and yes would most definitely recommend to anyone to go and see for themselves, thank you for a fantastic stay and much love to all the very hard working staff there that made it special for us ☺️

Had a lovely 10 days break. First I was a bit apprehensive because there is security on the beach and on a gate to gain access to the hotel. But after being there a few days and talking to people going out I felt a bit better. We had a walk into the main town of Sousse. We were approached by 2 different men saying they were waiters at our hotel. But the hotel had said that people do do that so be aware. As for the hotel I couldn’t fault it. Beautiful. The staff ALL went above and beyond. The food was excellent. The waiters were all very friendly and very officiant. The entertainment staff were very friendly and danced with people at night. Every spoke and said hello. They ALL had a smile for you. I had a problem with the mattress being a bit hard, within minutes of me asking for a topper, the receptionist was on the phone asking for one to go to our room. All these memories taken rooms have a fab sea view. After speaking to a lot of guest, some had returned to this hotel 14 times. That tells you something. We went at Easter, the sea was still a bit too cold. The main pool was cold to get in, but not too bad once in we did aqua aerobics most days. Wael, the fitness guy made that fun and a laugh. Speedy, Kathy and Bahia were some of the entertainment staff. The silent disco was funny. Ahmedkezia was our waiter. We tried to get in his area every night because he got to know us and he was lovely. But saying this All the waiters were.

Here are photos of the room after the housekeeper cleaned it. The problem started at 9:00 AM when I hung the door hanger to request cleaning of the room. I came back at 11:30 AM and found that they still hadn’t started cleaning the room. I noticed that the door hanger had been turned to the "Do Not Disturb" side. When I entered the room, I saw that they had placed a tea bag and Nescafé in the room, which means someone had entered, placed them, and then turned the door hanger. I came back at 12:00 PM, and the room was still not clean. I left and returned again at 1:00 PM, but the situation was the same. I contacted the housekeeper to tell her that I wanted the room cleaned and that I needed to rest. At 1:50 PM, I found the room was still in the same condition. Finally, at 2:00 PM, it was cleaned, but it was obvious that it had been done very quickly, in about 5 minutes. There was hair everywhere on the floor, and it had not been properly cleaned, especially on the carpet, which hadn’t been cleaned at all. There were stains everywhere, and only the visible areas had been hastily cleaned. The glasses were dirty and had not been washed properly; there was dust and streaks. The bedspread was torn. They didn't restock the shower gels and shampoo either There were also a lot of insects, especially mosquitoes. I got bitten several times. The curtains, the vanity, the sheets, and all other places were dirty. The coffee machine was also not cleaned. Moreover, the chambermaids are very rude. I heard them mocking the guests, saying that they are very dirty, doing this and that... They said this in Arabic, thinking that I wouldn't understand, but I understand a few words since my mother is of Tunisian origin In the end, I was really disappointed with the service, as it doesn't even deserve one star, let alone three stars.

An outstanding holiday at the Scheherazade. Staff make it all amazing. Service is outstanding, food amazing and so on. what stands out is the service from start to finish; this is simply an outstanding hotel doing great things and making holidays special. We could not have asked for anymore for our eagerly anticipated holiday and this hotel did not fail. We will return again.
