First Camp Solvik-Kungshamn

Great place near to Smogen and other coastal villages. We had one of the cabins right by the waters edge with a deck outside which was great for sitting on and having meals . The only slight downside of the cabin was the very steep ladder to get to the two beds in the loft and also the internal living area was a bit small - we had great weather so could sit outside but with a family inside it would be a bit cramped downstairs - id probably rent one of the slightly bigger cabins next door in that case. Reception was helpful, there is a shop. Mini golf outdoor play areas inc football pitch. Lovely swimming spots from the rocks 5 mins easy walk away. Smogen is a short drive or bike ride away and is lovely for strolling around and has some great walks round it’s various headlands.

We had a 2 nights stay. Everything was fine, never the less the space in a standard cabin is not enough for 3/4. We would also preferred to have linen and cleaning included for a short stay. Beatiful environement and short distance to Smogen

I think the camp is overall nice but We have to consider our own experience which was not good. At arrival our toilet had no flush button, and our shower was broken. As soon as we flushed a brown liquid came spraying out of the shower and no water was moving. We told this to the staff, several days in a row and no plumber came until the evening of our last day. We were offered no compensation and everyone seemed confused of where our 4 complaints went. I don’t like being the angry complainer so I accepted that this was not going anywhere and made peace with showering elsewhere. Most of the people working there are young, and I can imagine not very experienced with customer service. They seemed very nice. We weren’t expecting a 5-star hotel, but we did pay to have a functioning shower. The button issue was compensated with a free round of miniature golf, which we never used. The service houses where we had to resort to showering were very good. Clean and spacious. The playground was fun for the kids. This camp site feels a bit cursed with all its water problems, if only they could fix the basics it would have been a 5/5.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderschöner Platz! Hatten eine Strandbyn & spontan verlängert, weil es uns so gefiel! Nur ein Katzensprung von Kungshamn und Smögen, ein echtes Erlebnis.

Die Lage vom Campingplatz ist sehr schön. Wir hatten einen ruhigen Stellplatz. Ein kleines Manko war das der Rasen recht hoch war, was bei Regen nicht so angenehm war.

Der Platz ist zwar relativ groß, doch verteilen sich die Stellplätze sehr gut auf dem Gelände. Die Lage zwischen den Felsen des Schärengebietes ist wunderschön. Auch sind die meisten Stellplätze sehr großzügig angelegt, so dass man verhältnismäßig viel Abstand zum Nachbarn hat. Die sanitären Anlagen sind einfach aber sehr sauber. Die Nutzung der Duschen ist im Übernachtungspreis inkludiert.
