Highly recommend this lodging, but it's important to understand in advance what these accommodations include. This is not a hotel. It is a former condo that now rents out individual rooms so there is no front desk, no concierge, etc. The rooms are large, bathrooms recently renovated, and there is an elevator. It is super clean and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. Management only provides one key per room which means guests must coordinate their return to the room because only 1 guest will have a key. Location is wonderful. Less than 10 minutes easy walk to rail stations and only about 5 min walk to the wonderful historic district (shopping and restaurants). Sorrento is really alive at night, and we really enjoyed it. We thought we were getting breakfast, but we only received packaged sweet breads from a grocery store. I would definitely stay again.

The positives of our stay included: large room, clean and room exactly as pictured online. AC unit was also new and worked great. The negatives of our stay included: being all but hidden and very hard to find located within an apartment building and among other air bnbs. I do not use air bnb for this reason and felt like we were using that instead of a hotel. We did not have any breakfast nor were offered it. Only saw an employee once when they stopped by to let us in and give us many sets of keys. The lift was shady at best but necessary with luggage and the “hotel” being on the 3rd floor. If you don’t mind an air bnb experience this would be a good stay, I just would have liked to know what we were getting into prior to booking, seems a bit dishonest. Also bed not comfortable, my husbands feet hung off the end of it.

This review is purely to warn those who might be considering staying here – do yourself a favour and find somewhere else, literally anywhere else. You can get much better rooms, in better locations for less money in Sorrento (we know this because we did)! The room itself was fine, definitely nothing to write home about, but fine. The building itself is just a no-go. Tucked away in an industrial style area, no signposts, nowhere near where google maps told us it would be (2 different taxi drivers failed to find this place). First impressions; the building is just simply run down and dirty! The lift that takes you up to the ‘suites’ looked condemned – just plain dodgy (as were the other quests to be honest). Within minutes, we had music blaring through our wall. We have NEVER walked out of a hotel or apartment before and I have never given a 1 star review – but I hope this stops other people making the same mistake we did, because we literally ran away minutes after checking in! Yes I did try and resolve the issues with Colors&Suites: The host had also run away after check in – I can’t say I blame him! Yes I did try and contact them by email a couple of days later, and no they did not care - luckily I managed to sort this with the third party booking site so it helped I had an extremely rude email from the host to back up my initial complaints. This may look cheap and cheerful… but it’s not even that cheap, let alone cheerful!

Bella struttura...stanze pulite e moderne...situata al centro di sorrento dove e possibile spostarsi tranquillamente a piedi....ottima accoglienza con persone gentillissime e molto disponibili...la consiglio tranquillamente...e sicuramente ci tornerò.

La struttura si trova in un complesso carino e tranquillo, strategicamente la posizione è perfetta a due passi dal centro . Le camere sono dotate di comodi letti e pulizia ed efficienza del servizio sono all’ordine del giorno . Il team è molto professionale in un contesto di cortesia semplice e spontanea . Well done
