Marina Piccola 73

We loved this secluded oasis at the Marina in Sorrento. The location at the base of a cliff was breathtaking! We would come back here in a heartbeat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. In particular, Donatella was super friendly and cooked us the best pastries, quiche and breads every morning. All the front desk staff were also friendly and gave good advice on where to eat and where to go in/and around the town.

Had a lovely stay and received great service from Donnatella in the mornings and friendly visits from Joe Black the Cat (the most polite and soft kitty I've ever met!) The patio area was gorgeous and had relaxing views. It is also located close to ferry and tour pickups.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Marina Piccola 73 as part of our Italian adventure. Communication was really good as soon as I booked, I advised them we would be arriving earlier than expected and it was a pleasant surprise to find out that our room was also ready early for us. Alice was extremelt helpful throughout our stay, she helped my partner navigate the tight corner to drive to the hotel (where we was able to securely park our car during our stay). She also contacted our car rental company for us as I could not get through. Her restaurant recommendations were appreciated and we had one of our nicest meals in Italy thanks to her. Finally we accidently left our iPad in the room after we checked out so Alice arranged for someone to bring it over to Capri on the ferry the next day. I can not praise the customer service enough and that is what makes smaller hotels like this so worth it! The room and view from our balcony was beautiful, also the terrace where we ate breakfast was stunning. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good base to visit the Amalfi Coast as the location is perfect for getting on ferries and visiting different towns along the coast. Thank you so much for the perfect stay.... Hopefully we will be back to visit again sometime.

This hotel is truly luxurious. The location is perfect with a view of the harbor and surrounding hillside villages, but around the bend from a much busier tourist area. The rooftop bar is secluded and a great place to relax after a busy day of shopping and sightseeing. Our bartender, Vincenzo, was skilled at creating unique and delicious cocktails. The front desk staff, Mariarita and Alice, were beyond helpful with dining suggestions and travel arrangements. The room was so comfortable with a cushy bed facing the balcony and the gorgeous view, and the bathroom was modern and stocked with everything we could need. This is a perfect place for a traveling couple, and we will definitely stay here again.

We cannot say enough about this lovely hotel. From our arrival where we were met by the concierge, Mary, in the area outside to guide us into the parking area, we felt so at home. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the Marina and the ocean. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The rooftop bar was delightful with great service from Vincenzo. This is also the breakfast area in the morning. So delightful. The breakfast included fresh pastries,cake, quiche,fruit,charcuterie,cheese jam, toast and delicious cappuccino served in this beautiful setting outside, which made it all the more special. We were offered eggs, but declined as the breakfast served was amazing. The service and hospitality were impeccable. The owner went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and we appreciated her and her staff. Everyone was wonderful! The hotel is near the elevator to the beautiful town of Sorrento which for a small fee takes you up to the town without breaking a sweat with all those stairs, and delivers you in the middle of an incredible shopping and dining area. If you wish to take one the ferries to the Amalfi coast, they are at your doorstep in the Marina. We hated to leave but will definitely return.

What a perfect stay. Wonderful hotel in Marina Piccola, away from the port crowds but within walking distance to all of the action. We stayed for 7 days in early September and were so comfortable and relaxed. The rooms are beautiful and very clean (as well as having a great AC unit, iron, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar and mini-fridge). The room had a balcony overlooking the water where we could watch the boats and port activity, as well as see the fireworks, enjoy the amazing view of Mount Vesuvius and hear the waves at night. The hotel staff are INCREDIBLE - the owners Roberta and Alice were so kind, helpful and responsive, as well as Mariarita. They arranged our transfer from Rome to Sorrento which was such a huge help, as well as making dinner reservations for us which was much appreciated. There is an amazing terrace overlooking the water where we had breakfast made by the amazing and talented Donatella, as well as delicious drinks in the evening made by Vincenzo who was also so kind and gracious. Absolutely loved it and would stay here next time without question. 5+++ stars.
