Marina Piccola 73

We loved this secluded oasis at the Marina in Sorrento. The location at the base of a cliff was breathtaking! We would come back here in a heartbeat. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. In particular, Donatella was super friendly and cooked us the best pastries, quiche and breads every morning. All the front desk staff were also friendly and gave good advice on where to eat and where to go in/and around the town.

I highly recommend this BNB. The staff were very helpful from the time we booked until we left. Answered any questions that we had and helped us book a tour to the Amalfi coast. The place is small, right on the water with the ferry right outside and with beautiful views of Mt Vesuvius from our room. Daily housekeeping. Shout out to Donatella who served us breakfast each day from the upstairs terrace. She is such a delight and served us lots of traditional foods that were all so very good. You definitely leave full. The town of Sorrento is up above so you need to walk about a mile up hill or walk to the lift about .25 mile and it cost about 2 euros. Lots of shopping in town.

Had the best stay ever at this beautiful hotel. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bed was so comfortable. The views were spectacular. The ferry is right outside your door and we went to Amalfi, Positano and Capri from here. There is an elevator very close by that will take you to the town up above. I cannot say enough about the owners and staff., so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and was so delicious. At 5 pm Vincenzo arrives to serve you the most perfect cocktails. Just book it! I hope to return one day.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Marina Piccola 73 as part of our Italian adventure. Communication was really good as soon as I booked, I advised them we would be arriving earlier than expected and it was a pleasant surprise to find out that our room was also ready early for us. Alice was extremelt helpful throughout our stay, she helped my partner navigate the tight corner to drive to the hotel (where we was able to securely park our car during our stay). She also contacted our car rental company for us as I could not get through. Her restaurant recommendations were appreciated and we had one of our nicest meals in Italy thanks to her. Finally we accidently left our iPad in the room after we checked out so Alice arranged for someone to bring it over to Capri on the ferry the next day. I can not praise the customer service enough and that is what makes smaller hotels like this so worth it! The room and view from our balcony was beautiful, also the terrace where we ate breakfast was stunning. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a good base to visit the Amalfi Coast as the location is perfect for getting on ferries and visiting different towns along the coast. Thank you so much for the perfect stay.... Hopefully we will be back to visit again sometime.

You would be hard pressed to find a more charming accommodation and fantastic staff than Marina Piccola 73. We arrived by ferry from Naples and the hotel is an easy walk from there. Just steps, really. The room was beautiful and the rooftop bar with it's view is incredible. (Their drinks are so tasty!) The breakfast is delicious and more than you could possibly eat. The hotel also can arrange trips to Capri and the Almafi coast for you, both of which we did. Also, surprisingly, somehow, the hotel knew it was my birthday and brought me a small cake with a candle on it at breakfast. We are SO glad we chose Marina Piccola 73 for our accommodations!

We cannot say enough about this lovely hotel. From our arrival where we were met by the concierge, Mary, in the area outside to guide us into the parking area, we felt so at home. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view of the Marina and the ocean. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. The rooftop bar was delightful with great service from Vincenzo. This is also the breakfast area in the morning. So delightful. The breakfast included fresh pastries,cake, quiche,fruit,charcuterie,cheese jam, toast and delicious cappuccino served in this beautiful setting outside, which made it all the more special. We were offered eggs, but declined as the breakfast served was amazing. The service and hospitality were impeccable. The owner went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and we appreciated her and her staff. Everyone was wonderful! The hotel is near the elevator to the beautiful town of Sorrento which for a small fee takes you up to the town without breaking a sweat with all those stairs, and delivers you in the middle of an incredible shopping and dining area. If you wish to take one the ferries to the Amalfi coast, they are at your doorstep in the Marina. We hated to leave but will definitely return.
