La Bastia Hotel & Resort

I've traveled quite a bit and I've also worked in the hotel and resort business for many years. I've never had such a horrible experience. We were greeted by who I think may have been the son, took us to the "new structure" so we had really high hopes. It was awful. We made sure there was air conditioning before we booked, I'm American and it's important to me. I ask where is the AC, he tells me that they control it in the office, I said, so I have no control over it? No but if it's a problem just call 9 and we'll take care of it. So basically no AC. No design, no decor at all to this room. They do have a flat screen TV ( see photos) it's tiny. I grabbed an extra pillow immediately from the wardrobe... It was dirty, with either blood, chocolate or feces...I'm really not sure which one it was. Looking out at the pool... it also was tiny..NOTHING like the photos at all...such false advertising. We booked for 2 nights and knew immediately we would leave the next day. We went to the pool to try and relax but there were young boys screaming and spitting in the pool. ( not the hotel's fault but still disgusting) We did book through a third party so we called them to cancel our next day's booking. They sent an email to the "resort" and were waiting to hear back to see if we could cancel without a fee. I tried to speak with the owner's wife and she was incredibly rude and dismissive. I asked if the email came through. she told me I had to wait to speak with her husband, she didn't know how all that worked. I also asked her about turning down our AC to be a little cooler. She explained that they weren't going to do that, that they thought it was exactly as it should be. We went out for the night, came back after midnight only to realize that they turn off the AC at night. Needless to say I was furious. We are still paying customers! The website says they have an international breakfast, I don't normally eat sweets for breakfast and prefer savory. All sweets at breakfast, and we didn't know that if we wanted savory, we just ask. It's not written anywhere, and it was a "buffet" so how could we possibly know we could get anything else. This place is run down, shabby, seems like not well maintained at all and I believe they rent out part of this "resort" as an assisted living for the elderly. We could not leave fast enough.

I love this hotel It's so beautiful and have an a amazing view. I love the food and I ate so well because of the António António was so nice to us and give to us very delicious food Thank Antonio love you.

Ottima struttura con camere spaziose, personale molto gentile e disponibile dove si mangia molto bene! Piscina e sale meeting molto grandi fanno della location un posto meraviglioso anche per grandi gruppi.

Il posto è bello e curato, il panorama è fantastico, si respira pace e serenità. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. La piscina non è grande ma assolve al suo scopo di poter fare un bel bagno rinfrescante e poi è circondata dal un bel parco. Lo consiglio anche per chi vuole fuggire dal caldo opprimente della città

Un esperienza terribile . Il personale e maleducato soprattutto i camerieri le stanze era belle ma la televisione non funziona Insetti nelle camere e Aqua fredda il cibo faceva schifo metà dei miei amici si sono sentiti male la piscina non esiste e la colazione e molto basic con solo delle fette biscottate e un fetta di ciambella

Bella struttura, in posto ideale per riposare. Ambienti puliti e curati. Buon trattamento ristorante. Estrema gentilezza del cameriere Antonio, pronto a rispondere ad ogni tua necessità e richiesta. Ho accompagnato i miei 50 alunni. Si può certamente ritornare.
