El Rio Hotel

Our recent 5-night stay at Hotel El Río was truly magical. We were looking for a true jungle experience en ohhhh did we find it! We booked the ‘Guadua’ bamboo palapa for an immersive experience. Waking up to the tranquil sounds of the jungle, with monkeys playfully leaping in the trees near our palapa and the soothing river nearby, provided a magical start to each day. The staff’s exceptional kindness made us feel truly welcome and well-cared-for; no request was too much. They care about the environment and try to make your stay as sustainable as possible. We enjoyed various activities, including a cave exploration with Luis, horseback riding with Samuel, a jungle hike with Willington and bird watching with Sebastian. Each adventure was both thrilling and breathtaking. We highly recommend doing multiple activities. For relaxing afterwards we booked some excellent massages with Luz, Paola and Catharina. We really enjoyed the food the kitchen crew prepared, especially the local cuisine dishes. We arrived as strangers and departed feeling like family. We highly recommend Hotel El Río to anyone seeking an unforgettable nature experience. See you soon, cause we are definitely coming back!

Top-notch experience from beginning to end. The hotel, the food, experiences, pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. The river - epic! The staff was so courteous and kind and didn’t miss a beat. One of my favorite hotels in Colombia by far, a must visit! 🌟

We repeated el tio hotel for the third time. They keep improving what was already ver good. Setting, location , accommodation and food were all excellent. The ladies managing the spa were also excellent. Plenty of things to do or just relax, if that is the plan. Service was excellent too. Thanks to all

La atencion es VIP, la comida exquisita, los planes para divertirse son espectaculares, la decoracion es de lo mas top, tienen television, aire acondicionado, agua caliente, se siente uno en casa y estas en medio de la selva. Volveré pronto.

Espectacular!!! Una gran experiencia y atencion. El staff se preocupa para hacerlo sentir como en casa, es de resaltar la calidad de las habitaciones, la comida y las instalaciones en general. Recomendado ir dos noches, tiene muchas actividades por realizar.

Maravilloso lugar! Entorno exquisito! Comida variada y deliciosa! Todo es realmente rico! Y vivir la magia del río desde un entorno paradisiaco. Sin duda volvería! No se guíen por Waze sino por google maps. La habitación el trébol: la mejor!
