We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Solimago. The place is peaceful and beautiful, and the pool is amazing. The family are friendly and welcoming and we will be happy to return any time!

Behind the large door you enter a seemingly bygone culture. Has time stood still? Impressive 17th century buildings in which the large rooms give you a wonderfully rich feeling. Asking for dishwashers here seems madness. Some understanding of the culture is recommended. The bathrooms are also up to date, and the central heating and induction hobs work fine. The beautiful swimming pool invites some physical exertion, although you can also enjoy a lovely walk between the hills and the vineyards. Host and hostess do their best to make this extra attractive. Their wine and juices are a must try! There is room for the kids in the beautiful gardens. Breakfast and meals are vegetarian. (but a nonvegetarian Pizzeria is at 50 meters distance.) The price/quality ratio is OK. We'll be back!

We've been to Solimago for a couple of years now and it has been a delight every time. Exceptional place, historic surroundings and close to the Garda lake for a day 'at the beach'. Service is great. Hosts are very kind, thoughtful and make you feel relaxt. It's great for kids as well, there is lots to explore without even leaving the estate. If you go for a day out, there is also lots to see in the area. Just to name a few outings: - Sabbioneta - Mantova - Verona Or just spend a day relaxing at the pool... with bar and lounge! Enjoy your stay, we sure did.

- [ ] Siamo due viaggiatori abituali, flessibili e tutt’altro che intransigenti. Abbiamo viaggiato molto, soggiornando dall’hotel a 5 stelle all’ostello. Siamo stati anche in molti agriturismi. Quello che vogliamo fare in questa recensione è raccontare quello che è successo, cosicché ognuno possa trarre le proprie conclusioni. Abbiamo prenotato per trascorrere tre giorni e due notti in questo agriturismo al prezzo di 150 € a notte la camera esclusa la colazione (importo extra non specificato su booking). La camera il giorno successivo non è stata pulita nè il letto rifatto. Idem per quanto riguarda il bagno; non viene neppure cambiato il set di asciugamani usati. Abbiamo così chiesto spiegazioni alla proprietaria, la quale ci ha detto che normalmente non forniscono servizio di pulizia giornaliera, bensì settimanale. Abbiamo scelto di fare colazione nella struttura. Il primo giorno lo yogurt era a un giorno dalla scadenza e le brioches vegane erano fragranti e fresche; il secondo giorno lo yogurt era scaduto da una settimana e le brioches erano rafferme. Vorremmo comunque evidenziare la bontà della crostata fatta in casa dalla proprietaria. Buone anche le marmellate. Il posto è molto bello ed esternamente curato. L’area verde e la zona piscina creano un contesto gradevole e rilassante. Purtroppo la bellezza del posto è stata compromessa da uno scarsissimo servizio. Chi come noi fa brevi viaggi rilassanti si aspetta prima di tutto un buon servizio.
