Hotel Kitchen59

Pros: The hotel design is very modern and clean. The staff are nice and friendly and do everything they can to help you. This hotel is big on sustainability. They don't leave plastic bottles in your room. Instead, you have glass bottles that you can fill up everywhere in the hotel. Every floor has a drinking fountain where you can fill up your bottle. The food was absolutely amazing. Breakfast is not a buffet. On weekdays, you have to choose between a Bulgarian or a French breakfast. At first, I was disappointed that they didn't have a simple option like an omelet; I went with the Bulgarian option. It was fantastic. Everything was fresh. On weekends, you only have an omelet option, which was also great. For dinner, I got Sea Bass and it was also great! I am fully satisfied with the food served at this hotel. The only criticism I can give is that the breakfast serving window is very small and late (8:30 am to 10:30 am if I remember correctly) and you have to wait for more than usual to get your food. Cons: The rooms have tile floors, which look cold but are not since I believe they use floor heating. The problem is that they don't offer slippers, which I don't like, since the same tiles continue into the toilet. It doesn't feel clean. They also don't offer toothbrushes which I would have really appreciated. I had to unplug the fridge since the compressor made a lot of noise when turning off and on, and I'm a light sleeper. Overall I would recommend this place if the location suits you, just bring your own slippers and enjoy the food!

This is the third time we stay at the place and it never fails us. Spotlessly clean and light. Functional industrial design, but warm and playful. The food is excellent! Abundant and original. This time the restaurant was closed in the evening due to the holidays, but we were referred to a restaurant in the neighborhood with a surprisingly good quality and nice service. The rooftop and the lobby offer plenty of relaxed workspace, with steady Wi-Fi and many electric sockets. The location is convenient, the tram stops right in front of the entrance and brings you to the center of Sofia. Safe, free parking, and if you know anything about Sofia, you would know how important that is. Our place of choice in Sofia.

Kitchen59 is my absolute favorite city getaway. The Rooftop pool is a standout feature; it’s refreshing and offers panoramic views of Sofia and the Vitosha mountain. The Restaurant is a culinary jewel, with talented young chefs crafting a menu that is both visually and gastronomically stunning. Complementing the food are the cocktails, quite simply perfected to a 'T'. For those of us who can't completely leave work behind, the whole ninth floor at Kitchen59 is available during the day, turning into a chill bar in the evening. Special mention must go to Vlady. He is not just attentive; he is a master of his craft. In summary, Kitchen59 sets the bar high for what a city getaway should be. Highly recommended, without reservation.

This is actually third time I stayed in the hotel. First visit was amazing, we were blown away, everything was new fresh and a bit quirky understandable for a new establishment. However in a few seasons the place definitely declined and the attitude of some of the new staff changed. To my understanding the place became a location for shooting some popular tv shows about cooking etc. and quality logging services is less of a priority. No coffee in the room anymore, you have to ask for capsules every day. The roof is unavailable before 9am and after 11pm. And rooftop bar staff was unfriendly. The playroom is in abandon state. Lobby smells like cooking, not in a good way, garbage juice in the elevator floor.. etc. I will think twice next time.

Great bar with lovely coctails and amazing people!!! Kitchen59 is the beat rooftop I have ever been too. They let me shoot a short movie 🎥 here voth in the hotel Kitchen59 and on the Rooftop bar using the swimming pool as well. Vlad the barman is a great barist.
