Design Hotel 36

Location was great! Very close to metro and sights. Room was nice and clean, comfy bed. I checked in quite late, but received good instructions to that few days before my artival. There was small fridge in the room, kettle was in the lobby and also free water. There is small supermarkets very close on the same street, where you can buy drinks and snacks.

I experienced exceptional service at Hotel Design 36 during a particularly challenging period. I had made a reservation for a stay, but due to unforeseen circumstances related to the conflict between Israel and Hamas, I had to cancel. The hotel's staff demonstrated understanding, empathy, and professionalism that exceeded my expectations. They promptly provided a full refund, considering the extraordinary situation I found myself in. I'm deeply grateful for the support I received from the hotel's team. I look forward to returning to the hotel under more peaceful circumstances in the future.

Absolutely stunning little hotel, great location in the middle of the city centre which is walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants and public transport links. The staff are extremely welcoming and offer a personal experience, nothing is to much bother. The rooms are beautiful, the hotel is extremely clean and modern. 100% recommend if your visiting Sofia. They really helped make my mums birthday special.

A wonderful hotel within walking distance of all the main tourist sights in central Sofia. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower. Comfortable beds. Breakfast included, hot and cold food available with unlimited coffee Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mariela. Good value for money.

Beautiful place! The hotel is clean, well maintained and the service is great. Our stay in Hotel 36 was perfect. This place is new, very beautiful and amazing. The location of this place is great. will defiantly go back there.

WARNING, AVOID & BE AWARE, NO OPERATIONAL HOTEL WITH ONLINE ACTIVE SYSTEM FOR RESERVATIONS Shame,shame, shame on you to scam people in such a way, but why I am surprised? its location of Europe and the reputation is negative because such a nasty scams, businesses and people still exists, unfortunately. I had booked at this hotel Check In : 2022-05-11 When I arrived there wasn’t any chance to get in, simply the hotel was closed and dark place, no bell, no reception people no access inside whatsoever. Surprisingly The booking was accepted and email confirmation received, absolutely unacceptable rude scammers, why would you do that? I was in this hotel several times before and I am aware of the entire entry system, but they failed miserably this time, but obviously with multiple people and months. I had checked in a few still open shops around for information if this “HOTEL” is still operational , but no luck, the people around already knew why I am asking as I wasn’t the only one busted on a daily basis and asking for information. I was forced to emergency look for hotels around to accommodate us for the night, but without success all the local hotels where full. Be aware their system accepts booking and you get false emails back for confirmation, don’t believe it. The actual phone number is dead number on voicemail only, no matter how hard you try. The person who sopose to pick the phone up is Called Yuri who’s misterios, doesn’t exist anymore. Our opinion is Absolutely Bad, cruel, nasty and unprofessional service, with absolutely worst circumstances if you arrive at night you are exposed to elements and local Bulgarian crime. Do not trust this hotel anymore people, look somewhere else or you are risking to be stranded on the street and start your break upside down because of this nasty service. Good luck
