Rooms nice and ours was big, it has a spa Bath but no bath luxuries supplied, receptionist was a pleasant lady. Arrived in the evening, during a heavy rain storm, after a long journey from UK. Was told no facilities at the hotel for lunch or dinner, no facilities in the room or at the hotel to get a coffee. It does not state this on its website only when you arrive. Was told we could go to the nearest village 8 Kms away to get a meal, the only decent restaurant there was closed and their were a few bars there, however none offered food. Got back to hotel to find the room we were in, the roof had leaked ( due to the torrential rain) and the floor was drenched….. we were shown another room which was much smaller and the corridor to that was flooded due to a leak in the roof over that. The second and third room was too small as we had a dog, so stayed in original room with bucket to collect the water and towels over the floor. Due to stay two nights, however, checked out the next morning and headed off and found a more acceptable hotel. The hotel situation is very rural, which is nice. The hotel offers an acceptable breakfast and that is it. The rooms should have tea and coffee making facilities as standard due to no availability any where else locally, these rooms are not cheap. The website needs to be more transparent. Maybe have a honest box so people could help themselves to drinks and maybe snacks and pay for them. Car parking isn’t on site it’s about 50 m away and unsecured. Across from the hotel is a poor dog that is tethered to a wall day and night by a metal chain and probably due to being so stressed, it barks routinely day and night, ear plugs needed as you hear it clearly in the rooms at the front. I spoke with the owner about our experience and lack of facilities, no service recovery was offered by him at that time, the next morning the receptionist took the cost of the dog staying which was a nice touch. For me this hotel needs to look at the lack of facilities it doesn’t offers, as it’s so remote more has to be available at the hotel. Over all I found it a disappointing experience.

Bonito hotel junto al rio cerca de rutas bonitas para hacer por cantabria. La suite con jakussi y terraza una maravilla. Tiene sofa, cama, mesa y 2 sillas, nevera y el baño con ducha que da a la terraza. El jakussi esta enfrente a un ventanal. Nos dejaron de detalle 2 botellas de agua, cacahuetes, 2 bombones y unas copas con gominolas que les pedi porque llevaba yo vino. Pero tienen un pack que te ponen vino o cava, sales de baño para el spa, bombones y petalos de rosa en la cama. Tienes habitaciones con spa desde un atico a una suite familiar. Precios asequibles.

He estado solo en la terraza del bar y pretenden cobrar 2,10 por un café con leche frío y muy malo, hecho en cafetera eléctrica. No tenían nada para picar en la barra a pesar de ser las 12 de la mañana. Las camareras amables pero no vuelvo ni aunque se me averie el coche en la puerta. 2,10 por un café es una vergüenza.
