Hotel Wityng

We stayed here in the summer of 2023 for 5 days and had no problems, except the flooding in the Gold Apartment bathroom. Something changed within the management since last year, and they now just don't care. The food quality was worse, the buildings are not being maintained, broken things are not being fixed, and the staff are all on edge. Our group of over 100 people will not stay here anymore. Gold & Silver Apartments: (these are the most expensive suites at this place) The shower is flooding the whole bathroom with every shower since last summer and has only gotten worse. We couldn't believe that they are allowing the flooding to continue almost a year later. This will cause water damage/mold to the building. - The apartments need a thorough clean, including the walls, doors and carpet stains. - Neither of the apartments had any hot water, had to take cold showers. Reported to management, the Gold Apartment finally had hot water the following day, no hot water at the Silver Apartment for the duration of the stay. This is not acceptable! - Dresser doors taped shut because the latches are not working, which makes the dresser unusable. - Event room that is located under the apartments was booked for parties every night of our stay. These were nightclub type of music going on until 1- 2am. Drunk people yelling outside. The apartments were literally shaking from music. After the parties ended, they were dragging furniture around very loudly, using drills and hammers to assemble or disassemble something for a few more hours. It was impossible to sleep. Hotel should not book both the apartments and the event room at the same time because it's not possible to sleep with events that loud right under you. We complained about not being able to sleep to manager of hotel in the morning. A few hours later they kicked us out and gave us an hour to pack up and leave - during our conference. We had the apartments booked for one more night, all paid for, and they still kicked us out. It is not good customer service to kick people out for having a legitimate complaint. We booked the suites in order to be able to rest/sleep at night, not to have to stay up the whole night and be exhausted. - Conclusion: will not stay here again and don't recommend it, which is sad because if this place was managed well, it has so much potential!
