Hotel Luna

Very good hotel, our room was with balcony to the west and fantastic view. I would have liked some instruction about door mechanic's before, but found out it was very smart indeed. Door handle was at default down and the door was locked. If the handle was horizontal, the door was unlocked and ready to open. If the handle was in upright position, the door was not ready open, but was open on the top, kind of like open window. The room had strong AC which was on setting 18°C when we arrived which was and too cold both at nights and days when heat was 30°C+ outside, best was the settings on 28/29°C and A- for automatic fan setting. The breakfast was fantastic. Real orange juice squeezed instantly. Two cappuccino machines, lot's of bakery stuff, some healthy stuff and of course, fresh fruit's of all kinds. We choose to eat inside as the sneaky birds kept stealing from us. Everything was nice as lobby and helpful friendly hotel manager. Cleaning was top notch and when we did leave, we both regret not to be able to leave tips for the cleaning staff which we both liked. (Our "excuse" was we did have to use our Euros on the travel to Verona as Taxi had responded request for booking as "full booked" day before departure) Sirmione is kind of isolated, but shuttle bus from Sirmione old twon to Colombare via Rome, station 10, was the key to both buses and then trains if one would like.

This is honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. We made our way to the hotel in a taxi which had to go slowly through the crowds but then, as we approached Hotel Luna, the crowds disappeared and we were left in much more peaceful surroundings. We had a big balcony which looked to the lake and a nice-sized room with great air-conditioning. The only downside was a very small shower, but that didn't really matter. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice, both hot and cold. There was also a wonderful fresh orange juice machine. They must go through hundreds of oranges each day. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Hotel Luna the last week in April and it was very enjoyable from start to finish.It was on a bed and breakfast basis.The check in was perfect,the room was perfect,very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious.Plenty of cereal ,fruit etc. The staff were excellent from start to finish.We can't praise them enough. The hotel is right in the middle of the historic centre and most convenient for the ferry and there are plenty of restaurants close by..The Terme Catullo is right across the road. A very quiet hotel with no bar. 10 out of 10 for this hotel.Highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is excellent, at the northern end of the village centre, but still within easy walking distance of everything. It was relatively quiet although there was some noise from a neighbouring restaurant or hotel in the evening, some speeding cars, and rubbish collection early in the morning. It’s not as bad as it sounds, it’s more than bearable. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, happy to help you with information, book taxis etc. The rooms are a reasonable size, no grand, but with all the basic amenities you need. There is also a small balcony, which in our room overlooks the hotel garden. The bathroom, especially the shower, could do with modernisation. We loved the breakfast buffet, geared to Italian tastes. Lots of fresh fruit, cold cuts and cheeses, nice rolls and croissants, yoghurt, etc. We had lovely stay, and would chose Hotel Luna again.

Stayed at Luna for a week. Don’t normally stay in lower than 4* but based on reviews we decided on Luna. We were not disappointed. Small friendly family run hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Great choice of coffees from the machine and the fabulous orange juice machine!! Place was spotless, bottle of still water, room bedding and towels fresh daily. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Great air conditioning. With distant but lovely view of the lake from the big balcony. Quick to the main area or the tip yet perfectly quiet too. Would certainly stay again.

gentilissimi!!!!! camere super pulite, ben arredate e con diversi confort, super colazione... ( non mancava assolutamente nulla)!!!! praticamente incollato alle terme. x la prenotazione ho parlato con Andrea, che con estrema gentilezza mi ha risolto il tutto(compreso prenotazione parcheggio) ..nonostante io avessi sbagliato nell'inserire date.. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!!
