very pleasant surprise – beautiful hotel and location Our stay at Minareto was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained, with great attention to detail in both architecture and landscape design. The gardens and vegetation are arranged with real taste, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The private beach is truly special — set in a quiet, protected bay with crystal-clear water and a relaxing vibe. The terrace area for sunset is also wonderful, with one of the best views in the area. Service throughout the hotel was friendly, professional, and discreet, and the possibility to order directly via WhatsApp made everything easy and comfortable. We didn’t take the boat trip to Ortigia this time — the sunset was too early in the season — but we’ll definitely try it next time. Overall, a beautiful and well-run property, and definitely among our top 3 favorite hotels. Warm thanks to the entire Minareto team for such a lovely stay.

What a beautiful property with amazing views. We love the attention to detail the beautiful cactus gardens and the ambience of sunset. Nothing was left to chance. Everything was accounted for from breakfast to delivery of room services anywhere I was on property. it is truly a five star property. Loved everything!

Amazing stay at Minareto, the service was first class, nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous views over to Ortigia (including from the three hot tubs at guests disposal) and very easy to get the water taxi to and fro. We were glad to be based out of the town so we had the calm, space and choice of both sandy and rocky beaches - beautiful sea swims even in October! Thank you to your wonderful staff for a very relaxing few days.

There is no way this resort is worth the $$$. Don't buy the marketing on the website or reviews by people who have never left a prior review. It's very isolated and falls flat, which is fine enough but also needs revamping. The staff is a mixed bag. Some are indifferent, and others, like Nico (?) and the gentleman who helped up check out early on 9/19, were top-notch. If you go to the pool, the only service is via your phone, so little personal interaction or attention. It even looks blah. The rooms are odd and mildly attractive. The lobby is very dated and unattractive. I just don't totally know how to encapsulate this odd place. I would just say that as a traveler who really likes nice hotels and is willing to pay for it on special occasions, I would not recommend this hotel. However, I was lucky enough to have room 244. This room has its own water-level patio (across from the "public" hotel patio), and it has a spectacular view.

I've been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful hotels over the years and often 5 star but this hotel was really disappointing. It is tired, some sections desperately need updating, it's unjustifiably expensive and how the majority of the staff seem unable to smile or be polite is a struggle to understand. The welcome drink never appeared, the room was basic, the pool has broken tiles around it, the much 'admired' tower to appreciate the stunning views you can't get into, the door is rusted almost shut which thankfully stops the rubbish escaping, the sauna and steam room are always shut and look unkempt. Some of the chairs/sun loungers at the pool and on the beach were stained and broken. The Whatsapp ordering for everything can be frustrating and did cause some delays. When we checked out and paid the hefty bill there was no thank you and no goodbye. It wasn't all bad and the hotel is in a beautiful location but we won't be going back.

We had a lovely stay at the Minareto hotel. The staff was so courteous and it was easy to request services for anything we needed. The room was gorgeous with beautiful views of Ortigia. Visiting Ortigia was easy with the shuttle boat service. I recommend it highly!
