Chapeau! Perfect, hotel, inrichting, chef, personeel alles tot in detail mooi en smaakvol. We hadden suite 103, en de kamer was prachtig mooi i gericht. Erg fijn dat de kasteelvrouwe in de ochtend even komt bij t ontbijt de chefkok na t diner en de kasteelheer buiten rondloopt. Waar maak je dat nog mee. Echt een degelijke goede zaken familie. We hebben genoten en komen zeker weer en we vertellen familie en vrienden hier zeker heen te gaan. Groot compliment voor meneer die dit kasteel heeft gerestaureerd, van ons en mijn man is ook aannemer, dit is zoals het hoort, puur vakmanschap!

This review is about the bistro of the Ordingen castle, located in a suburb of of 3800 Sint-Truiden, Belgium. My wife and I visited the bistro on the evening of 10th September 2023. We arrived in time to find the last available table outside. The atmosphere and the clientele were what we expected to find in this lush surrounding. My wife ordered the halibut, I had the salmon. Although pricey and served in small portions, both dishes were perfectly prepared and meticulously finished. My mousseline sauce was so excellent that we both enjoyed every drop of it. I had a glass of white wine of the house to go with it. Perfectly chilled and a perfect match. Although my wife and I consider ourselves very spoiled, we were pleasantly surprised about the quality of these dishes. However, that cannot be said about the staff. Leaving the apprentice out of the equation, I found the staff lacking in refinement and experience. The manager turned out to be a scruffy looking individual, who distinguished himself in a disrespectful way; when serving the drinks he managed to squeeze the lower part of his body between myself and my wife, making physical contact. His assistant clearly did not cope with the number of clients. Possibly through a lack of experience, or due to fatigue, he did not pay attention to his clients. As a result, it took a long time to place orders and get the bill. Nevertheless, we wish to pay our compliments to the chef, who is probably oblivious to the poor performance of the rest of the staff. We will be trying out the hotel restaurant very soon.

We loved this hotel!! We visited the hotel for the first time and felt so welcomed by the lovely and very helpful staff. Special thanks to Nele was so kind, made our stay at the hotel so exceptional. The hotel is fabulous!!! The room so clean!!! Like in a fairy tale.. The location is amazing. We will definitely come again and again.. Thank you so much.

Wat een gastvrij en prachtig gerenoveerd kasteel. Vanaf het inchecken tot en met de begeleiding naar je hotelkamer is zeer vriendelijk Ook op de vraag voor een mooie fiets route komen er diverse fietskaarten uit de kast Omgeving is mooi om te fietsen zijn alleen niet bevriend met de kasseien straten van België. Diner bij bistro was heerlijk. Prijs kwaliteit klopt daar zeker Voor ons een hele fijne herinnering voor ons 25 jarige huwelijk Marco en Maaike Wokke

Wow! Wat een gastronomische ervaring;-) Prachtig decor. Je wordt er verwelkomd door een professioneel team, echt warme mensen die je soigneren van het begin tot het einde. Wat een ‘bordjes’ die je voorgeschoteld krijgt, smaakvol en alles paste tot in de puntjes! Heel lekkere wijn, geserveerd door een aangename sommelier. Top!! Top chef!
