This has been a breathtaking stay at Waka Villas (7 star quality indeed). The private Villa with Pool and an interior of traditional mixed with modern minimalism and warmth, was ever so welcoming after long days on tours.
Well situated only a few minutes by tuk tuk from the center of Siem Reap city where markets and intriguing streets allow for a wonderful experience among locals.
We want to thank the entire Staff especially Manager Mr. Okabe and our kindest Siem and Kim for being always one step ahead of our needs.
And our tour guide „Mr. T“ (Tola) who has a one of a kind way of explaining the history of Cambodia with so much fun we ended up retelling his stories to our families! Encouraging us to think about what we see and understand the bountiful kindness of the Cambodian people.
Thank you for introducing us to Cambodia with so much love.
Looking forward to booking here again!

I came to WAKA Villa as a last-minute choice after my original hotel was canceled due to renovations, and from the moment I stepped in, I knew I had found something special. We were warmly welcomed by Seam, who was incredibly professional and friendly. Every staff member we encountered was just as kind and accommodating. The design and decor of the hotel are tasteful and elegant, and the facilities are impeccable. A great hotel is one where every detail is thoughtfully considered, and WAKA Villa delivers that in spades – it’s truly comfortable, not just a pretty facade. (A special shoutout to the bathroom, which was simply perfect – from the Japanese-style toilet to the high-quality bath products with a sophisticated scent.) Every aspect was flawless. I cannot praise the service enough. I only stayed for one night, but that one day became a highlight of my entire trip. When I return to Siem Reap, I will definitely stay longer, and I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. If you’re considering a place like this, you won’t regret choosing WAKA Villa.

We had a fantastic time from the moment Seam collected us from the airport with refreshments until we left. The villas are very tasteful and luxurious with a fantastic bathroom and very comfortable bed. The highlight was that the Waka Team took us on a trip on motor bikes to the floating houses, through the rice fields and via the Angkor Wat temples. But also the guided tours to Angkor Wat and the visit to local market to try the local delicatessens were not to be missed.

Waka village and its staff are amazing!! The resort is wonderful, all the services included, our own private pool, spacious rooms and saloon… But, the best thing is the hospitality of the staff 💙 They have helped us with any details or question to enjoy our stay in Siem Reap. Additionally, the manager Seam has shown us the countryside, local food, habits,… to love much more this country. Thank you very much!

We had a 3 bedroom villa. It was two stories, huge rooms, all three rooms were like master bedrooms with their own bathrooms and the private pool was really nice. They also have a really nice free form infinity pool that is common to everyone. A small gym and spa. It is a smallish feeling place and located in kind of a seemingly rural/residential area not that far driving from downtown but not really walkable to anything. It is fine if you have a driver and guide all the time like we did. They did also have a couple bikes there for guests to use if one was interested. It is quite new and modern in style, lots of tile, marble, etc. and not really Cambodian or Asian feeling but really nice. The food/restaurant was very good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. One of the nicest perks of this place was they offered free laundry. That was pretty nice for us at that point of the trip.
