The room is not very big, but it is nice to have outdoor + indoor hot springs. However, there are many spider webs on the outdoor door. The food for one stay and two meals is not surprising. Roast meat is provided in the evening (mostly chicken, beef only) Beef tongue), only bread, ham, cheese, etc. are provided in the morning. Homemade flying saucer sandwiches are required, but the Japanese in the same place eat Japanese breakfast. Why is Japanese breakfast only provided to locals ×-×

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is an old hot spring hotel. It is said to have been passed down from generation to generation. The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. It is a rare carbonated spring in Japan. Opposite the hotel is a large supermarket with a variety of Kagoshima specialties and fresh ingredients, as well as a convenience store. There is a young lady who can speak Chinese. The whole experience was very good, will definitely come again!

Excellent
GGuest UserThe staff is very attentive and polite. The rooms are large and comfortable, with indoor and outdoor hot springs. At the same time, there is a public hot spring with high privacy and a peaceful environment to relax the body and mind. The food provided by the hotel is fresh and prepared carefully, and the quality of the food is very high quality and exquisite. It should be noted that the hotel check in time is 1530.
GGuest UserThere is a supermarket nearby, which I think is more convenient. The hotel and room environment is very good, and the private outdoor hot spring space in the room is also relatively large; The only thing is that the hotel is located near the city. Although it is more convenient, it also sacrifices and lacks the landscape of . This depends on personal choice. But in general, it is considered a hotel worth staying in.
GGuest UserTypical Japanese-style room, beautiful view outside the window. The camellia in the hotel is in full bloom.
Akamatsuyu is great. I saw it twice during my stay at the hotel. It was a pleasant surprise. It was snowing, and it was wonderful to soak in the hot spring in the snow.
The meal was also good. The dinners were different for two nights, which was considered for the guests.
The hotel has its own hiking root, and you can see the waterfall when you walk over.
The overall feeling is great.
TTravelholicsIts a good place as a onsen resort hotel. The onsens are really good. The food is so so but they provide free flow ramen and ice-pop at night as supper and snack. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. There is a private onsen tub at the balcony of our room. It is so nice to enjoy it in the breezy spring.
It will be better if you have own car to stay here. There do not have much choice of public transport direct to the hotel. But hotel staffs are also helpful to assist you to grab a taxi to any scenic spots nearby. The taxi drivers are all very nice. Even they can not speak english well, they tried very best to drive slowly when we pass by beautiful sakura park and use simple english to introduce few scenic places.
The hotel limousine provided us one way when we arrived the jingu station and one way when we checked out from the hotel to jingu for free. I like their service and have great stays here!
CCurious TravellerHotel Kyocera is probably one of the largest hotel in Kirishima. It has two buildings ( main and annex) and looks quite good architecturally. They are connected by a bridge on the 3 floor which has the walking escalator- and a display of the various places that have been listed as world heritage sites in Japan.
Inside the main building, there is a glass church which is ideal for weddings. In the basement, there is a large onsen, and spa. It is certainly a good place for having a holiday. The overall condition of the rooms are good- and the rooms are of good size. My room faces the East and has a perfect view of sunrise!
There are two large parking lot and parking is free.

GGuest UserLocated near Takachiho Peak, this hot spring hotel has a forest of 100-year-old cedar trees on the premises, as well as a huge hot spring lagoon, allowing you to feel the natural surroundings. The staff's welcoming, check-in, and check-out procedures were professional and left a good impression.
The room itself was clean, but it was a little worn down with age, and unfortunately did not feel luxurious. However, the room was facing southwest above the main entrance, and we had a beautiful view of Kagoshima Airport and the sunset, so it was a comfortable stay. We were also grateful for the free bottled mineral water in the room.
Since we stayed for two nights, the second night's dinner was specially prepared for us with a different menu from the previous night, and we were seated by the window where we could get a good view of the 100-year-old cedar trees. The food was made with local ingredients and looked beautiful, so we were very satisfied.
Breakfast on the first day was very crowded and difficult. There were long lines for every dish, and children were running around. First, we had to take a tray, but the front of the line to be guided to our seat was in the same place as the tray table, so I thought the flow was poor and needed to be improved. On the other hand, even though we had breakfast at the same time on the second day, it was not crowded and we were able to eat quietly, so I think your luck with breakfast is unpredictable depending on how busy the hotel is.
The location in the middle of nature, the huge hot spring lagoon, and the service from the staff were all very satisfying, and I would like to visit again.
陳陳查禮My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers.
Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people.
By the way, good breakfast and dinner, both in terms of the menu as well as service and venue.
明明明仔The hotel already has a history
So the facilities are relatively old
The location is close to the hot spring market and Lawson
The room is large in size
The hot water in the bathtub or wash basin in the room is hot spring water, so it has a sulfur smell.
Dinner is plenty
Breakfast is a buffet, leaning towards Japanese style
FFujisohThe stay was average. Ample car park space. If there isn't, just ask front desk and they will direct you to park at adjacent site, which we did. Hotel did request we surrender car key to them, probably to move car in event of need. We chose not to.
The breakfast spread was great, a typical Japanese full breakfast. Was pleasantly surprised by the generous servings and beverages.
Room has musky smell so we had to use personal air freshener to at least sterilise the air in room.
Else, all average.
Thank you.
