The location is not 20 meters inside the north gate of the ancient city. In the ancient city, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the rooms are clean and sanitary, the boss is very polite and enthusiastic, and helped us understand the travel route and buy tickets in advance... I like it. Although there are other inns below, they are far away , if you have a lot of luggage and it is inconvenient, or you can only take a battery car. It's also a bit deserted down there.

The room was good and the balcony view was very good. But the service is too bad! After arriving at the beach, the passengers on the bus had the innkeeper to pick up, and no one answered the phone. So I finally found the inn, there were no people at the front desk, and I waited for more than ten minutes to wait for people to come. The most speechless thing is that I don't register my ID card when I stay at the hotel, and I repeatedly confirm that it has always been like this. Stayed for two nights, no one cleaned the room the next day, and the front desk basically couldn't see anyone. Check out at 7:30 in the morning on the third day, still can't find anyone, call to shut down. So I left the room card on the front desk and sent a text message to the boss. As a result, the other party did not reply to a text message after receiving the room card, and I had to call back to confirm. I lived in the self-service inn for the first time in my life, but I will never live in this house again!

The room supplies are clean and sanitary, the bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning is very powerful, so you don't feel cold when staying there. The smart toilet has a heating function. This season is very warm (you know). The balcony is not big but you can enjoy the river view at 270°. The curtain design is clever. If you’re too lazy to get out of bed, just shout “Hello Xiaoku” to help complete the task. This time, due to problems with my itinerary, I checked in very late at night and checked out very late the next day. The boss waited patiently and helped me, and I would like to express my gratitude here🙏. Gongtan Ancient Town is a place worth staying for two days, looking forward to meeting again. There are stone steps in the ancient town, so it is recommended to travel light.

GGuest UserThis is an ancient town and besides is a river where we enjoy the river cruise of breeze air and spectacular mountains view. As we hunt for our dinner while we scroll down the ancient looking street, we stumble upon a dessert shop. This dessert shop ran solely by the female owner. Highly recommend her souffle. She makes it upon your ordering. This I truly call it freshly baked. Highly recommended this Dongshi hotel. Don't take my words experience yourself.

BBaoheruanruantangI really like the homestay I stayed in in Gongtan Ancient Town this time. It is located in the first row along the river, so I don’t have to go through the pain of dragging a suitcase up the bluestone steps (the highest one is said to be 8 or 9 stories high). The business is run by a young couple. The first floor is a cafe with a few cats, and the second and third floors are guest rooms, which are clean and compact with great views. Of course, the hardware cannot be compared with that of chain hotels. The lack of dry and wet separation in the bathroom may discourage friends with high demands, but it can be seen that the operators are trying their best to do their best within the limited conditions of the ancient town. It’s a pity that I only stayed in the town for one night during this hasty trip. I hope I’ll have the opportunity to stay here for a few more days in the future.

MMatthieuI am a foreigner, I don’t speak Chinese. I have traveled to Gongtan by bus from Chongqing north station. The hotel is a little bit far from the ancient town, it is about 1 km. I am however very satisfied with this booking. The quality of the room is excellent. The mattress is soft, the room has air conditioning, the bathroom is at new standard with a great view on the valley. The boss of the hotel was extremely nice and helpful with us. We took his wechat and we could then easily talk to each other. He transported us from the hotel to the entrance of the ancient town several times (on demand return trip). He did it for free, by using the van of the hotel that can accommodate a group of 6 people. He has also booked a boat trip on the river for us. The breakfast was local, it means noodles. Coffee is extra. We had a great evening at the hotel, we drank local beers and had fun at the KTV located inside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and strongly recommends it.

The facilities are quite complete, and the cruise ship terminal is just a few steps away, which is very convenient. The boss can buy boat tickets for you, which is much cheaper. We had dinner at his house because the dishes in every restaurant on the street are pretty much the same and there's not much to choose from. The food tasted good but was a little expensive. They don't provide breakfast, but luckily there's a breakfast shop next door, so it's quite convenient. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the food and accommodation!

GGuest UserThe first time I came to Yantan Ancient Town with my friends, I stayed at the Xufengyuan recommended by my friends (I especially respect the place where Ren Zhengfei Ren once lived, and I must be stained with the light of the strugglers). I met the elegant and talented boss Professor Tian.
In the evening, we chat about Chinese learning, astrology, purple micro, and eight words (there is this national essence that can't be said directly, it's fun 😜), share life experiences with each other, and grab the speech 😎.
Especially good, is to drink several good tea, the white tea mellow sun aroma sniff into the body and mind, spleen and stomach through liver and bile and kidney through bladder after start, wonderful!

Wake up after five o'clock, get up and finish the work, use the water of the ancient town to complete the dry bath, after the sun rises, and go to the balcony of Linhe, facing the Wujiang River, which has witnessed countless historical figures, Turna tigers roared, and it was extremely comfortable!
