Travelodge Shrewsbury Battlefield

At Battlefields there no restaurant but next door there pub called two Henry s, there good food available and it led at breakfast time by Dawn, she deserves a mention, also at the lodge the receptionist was excellent.

Second stay here. Room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly as they were last time. I didn't hear any noise, banging or smells etc from other guests. A few really nice walks nearby (especially around battlefield church) and easy access to the town. The noise from the road isn't too much and there are a couple of food shops within walking distance. Will stay here again

Huge thanks to Chris and his team for making me feel completely comfortable during my stay. Customer service exceptional as was the cleanliness of my room. Although this visit was on a personal basis- for those who need a great place to stay in between business meetings- would and will be recommending to my contacts. Also some beautiful walks by Battlefield Church for all those who like the great outdoors. 💞 Thanks again Kerri See you soon!

Corridors smell horrible, room not 100% clean, receptionist on check was not very friendly. Morning receptionist very friendly

Very spacious and comfortable room in a quiet location next to pub/restaurant, Burger King, Subway and Aldi. The only 2 minor issues were unreliable card that after numerous failures had to be re-initialized 3 times to open the locks from the first attempt, and the absence of USB charging sockets near bed.

the bed was comfy and the location convenient but the room smelt terrible. like old cigarettes and body odour. and the windows were not great at keeping noise from the car park at bay. there was a fan which was useful, the shower not very strong for washing long hair. i’d stay again if necessary,

Lovely place to stay. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Good location with shops and lots of places to visit nearby. Chris the manager was super helpful as were the receptionists + other staff whenever I needed anything. Would stay here again 👍

Very adequate. I liked that the bath tub fills up quicly, good power from the tap. Nice towels... no hair dryer. The room card-key keeps failing when in proximity with a phone. If you wrap it in aluminum foil it should be fine.

Lovely places to stay very clean and peaceful. There's a pub in the same place that serves food just a short walk from the hotel. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble, especially Chris who's on the early shift.. wel done to all the staff
