Hotel dekat Sandanbeki Cliffs, Shirahama

The sea view room was great, very clean and tidy, beautiful and comfortable, private outdoor spring in the room, excellent for staying in the room. However, the meals were very disappointed that were unexpected to cost about US$600 for a night including dinner and breakfast for 2 adults and a kid. In particular, the foods for my kid were unacceptable for this price. The restaurant was not clean and the staff were not attentive. We booked the room through Trip.com and mentioned we have a 9 years old kid with us. The staff said they have no such record and required me to prove. Luckily I have the booking record in my App and showed them we did. Then, they said it should be the problem from Trip.com. And then, they said ok and would cost 25000 yen extra for my kid. I accepted, and then they said they could not provide an extra bed for my kid and reduced the cost to 20000 yen, and I also accepted. As a customer, I felt this was not attentive and not polite to request me to prove I had mentioned a kid for the booking. That’s all fine, but the quality and taste for the meals were really unacceptable at this price range, the breakfast was horrible. At last, my case wasn’t a communication problem because the staff who talked to us wasn’t a Japanese and was a native English speaker. Anyhow, the facilities and the room of this hotel were excellent, but the meals and services were not worth for this price.

This hotel is completely self-service. If you arrive before three o'clock in the afternoon, the door will be closed. No service staff will call the phone at the hotel door, and they can't speak English at all (we know that check-in cannot be done until after three o'clock in the afternoon, but at least the front desk We need a receptionist to store our luggage.) In the end, I found out through Ctrip and Google Translate that I had to go to another place to check in after three o'clock. This process is really troublesome There is no problem with the service of the hotel itself. They are purely self-service. However, Ctrip lacks necessary instructions and reminders to guests, making guests think it is an ordinary hotel. Ctrip has a great responsibility for this.

It takes about 2,000 yen to get a taxi from JR Shirahama Station; the bus will sit in Shin-Takisaki (remember it; ”Tasaki” next stop), 410 yen per person. You can also call the hotel to discuss whether you can pick up the station. (When we left, the hotel sent the bus to Bailiang, the next stop for the bus, 340 yen to the JR station). Even if you take the bus, it is recommended to let the hotel meet the mountain, because the mountain road is not too far but it is very steep, and it is not convenient to drag the luggage (we are dragging it up). If you have to go, turn left from the exit point and turn left to the first intersection and then turn left. Go to the head (the left hand side is also a hotel) and then turn right and go straight, on the steep slope, turn left less than 100 meters. There is a white Ferrari in the lobby, which is the boss. The hotel features semi-outdoor hot springs, but it is a wooden barrel that can barely accommodate two people (the couple is quite romantic). The so-called semi-open-air is that the wooden barrel itself is indoors, but the opening of the terrace door is the direction of the sea. Go to the edge of the terrace. The hot spring water is very hot and salty. Opening the door and occasionally hearing the smile of the Japanese girl in the bath next door, I feel more special (wife don't see this comment). Our room is a duplex structure, the bathroom and the spa barrels (and terraces) are upstairs, the windows in the downstairs room where the bedroom and the small living room are located are actually sealed, and the wife who likes ventilation is very upset. Looking down from the terrace, the reason for the closure is probably that there is no scenery outside the window downstairs, only the fence. Because in the mountains, going to the sights and restaurants can make the hotel pick up and drop off, but it is not suitable for people to wait for a stop to run, that is to say, they can rely on buses or walk in the middle. It is not far from the main attractions, such as the three sections of the wall, Qiansuifu and Bailiangyu (the first two are separated by one stop, in the direction of the hotel; Bailiang is between the hotel and the JR station). This is the second time to the day, the summer is still very cool, white beaches, hot springs, and the pandas in the area are also signs (China sent a few).

Very nice hotel with fantastic view as I booked ocean view . Breakfast has wide range of choice n even I take for 2 days will still able to enjoy . The inside room internet was weak though the lounge area was stronger .

The hotel is equivalent to domestic Samsung, but the room is large, one double bed and one single bed, two double sofas, one massage chair. Right to the sea, there is a supermarket downstairs and very close to the bus stop. If you don't buy a day card in Shirahama, the bus needs to pay cash, and various kinds of transportation cards such as watermelon cards will not work. One poise and two foods, the meal is not luxurious, but it is definitely an experience. If there is an introduction, there will be a special person to send it to the room. Someone from the store will help with the luggage, drive the door, and send a farewell. Hot springs are 150 yen per person. This time, the children who were under 6 years old did not receive extra money for accommodation, and there was no extra charge for sharing meals with adults.

The location is really good, only 2 minutes from the beach. It is a single-family two-story Japanese-style building with a Japanese-style courtyard. Stayed for one night and felt okay, but the place to wash is a bit small. Probably it is the off-season, and it seems that I am alone in the whole house. The timid friend suggests to be accompanied by a friend.

The hotel is convenient for travel, and there is a white sandy beach outside the back door; the breakfast is indeed very ordinary, but the dinner for 2 nights is very good; the sea view room I booked is quite satisfactory. After all, it is an old hot spring hotel, and the services are in place. Some hardware facilities are relatively old, and you should not expect much from the private hot spring that costs 2,000 😂

Location: Not close to the beach, it is next to a fishing boat mooring port, there is no way to walk to the beach, it is best not to choose if you want to take your baby to the beach, there are no convenience stores around, if you don't bring breakfast and dinner, eating will be a problem. Check-in: deliberately give Chinese tourists bad room types, I hope everyone pay attention, must go to the front desk theory. We set a better 50 square meters room, but gave us a ”refuge tool room” directly to the parking lot, and the communication repeatedly changed us to a much smaller downgraded room. There are many empty rooms. Eat: Breakfast and dinner are buffet, the choice and taste are not bad. Hot springs: There are three, male hot springs, female hot springs, mixed bathing (wearing swimsuits), but in fact, the mixed bath is a small to exaggerated small pool, almost can be ignored. Pool: There is a swimming pool for children to play, and children are more happy to play.

The boss is too cute! I know that we have to catch the breakfast early, have a lunch, and have a heart.
